We checked to see what we could do that was interesting, and Dudley Farm Historic State Park came to mind. The fee to get in was $5.00 per car, and it was the honor system - you put the ticket on your rear view mirror. There's plenty of parking. There were restrooms right by the parking lot, but nowhere else. There were lots of different buildings with different purposes and old fashioned equipment and machinery. There was a short video about the history of the place.  A gentleman named Pete played his fiddle. There were lots of artifacts on display.  The whole place took about 2+ hours to walk around and look at everything.   There were plants for sale.   There was also a store that listed food/drinks for sale, but it wasn't open when we went by. There were some people working there who were informative. It was pretty amazing to see how they used to live and the structures they lived in.   Lots of trails and open grassy areas. But be mindful of your kids as there are thorny vines growing around the ground.  There are 2 turkeys and about 7 chickens. This is a pretty cool place to check out. I'd go again and I'd recommend you go, it is worth the cost to see a piece of history.

Great small state park. Enjoyable for younger children. The walking trail is a short loop that can be done quickly. Nice clean restrooms and the staff is always friendly.

Dudley Farm Historic Park offers a captivating glimpse into Florida's agricultural past. Its beautifully preserved historic buildings and lush surroundings provide a picturesque backdrop for a journey back in time. While exploring the farm, I encountered a friendly and vocal turkey that added a charming, unexpected touch to the experience. The guided tours are informative and engaging, shedding light on the region's rich history. It's a delightful destination for history enthusiasts and nature lovers alike, with well-maintained trails and serene landscapes. Dudley Farm is a hidden gem that's definitely worth a visit

After 7 years of working Saturdays, I FINALLY got to go to the sugar cane harvest at Dudley Farm. Like everything they do, it was a historic reenactment of the cane harvest and processing prior to mechanization. If you are interested in seeing Florida history go to Dudley.

Went for a family picnic here and had a splendid time. Didn't see as many farm animals as we were used to, but it has been about 5 years since we came to Dudley. Clean and the volunteers are always welcoming.

My wife and I and another couple enjoyed the Sugar Cane festival. It was a nice, casual, family-friendly event with modest attendance and nice vendors. Park staff were pleasant and helpful. Parking was nearby with plenty of spaces. No traffic issues or crowds! I enjoyed seeing the turkeys, ripe citrus, and bananas hanging from the banana trees. Our group loved the farm history. Well worth a visit!

Today was a great trip! We visited the Dudley Historic Farm and we enjoyed it so much. It is a historically authentic and working farmstead and we really enjoyed learning about the history, listening to the self guided phone tour, and visiting the general store where we bought blackberry jam, pickled okra and local honey. We learned about how they make and produce cane sugar and about the animals on the farm. The volunteer staff were full of great information. We cannot wait to go back.

First time eating here and food was pretty good. The only thing that was not acceptable was my fries. They "looked good" but we're cold and stale as if they had been sitting awhile. The Monkey's Reuben Sandwich was 😋 yummy and fish tacos were ok.

I recently went to the Big Island Bowls in Tioga and got an Açaí Bowl and it was delicious! The customer service was exceptional and the store was so cute, a very warm and friendly environment! I’ve been to many other Açaí places in Gainesville
