Duck Dive Tavern - Restaurant in Virginia Beach - 404 Laskin Rd, USA

Not too much to complain about. I got the taco style brisket sliders and they were delicious. Not a massive meal but since they are on the appetizer menu, this is completely acceptable. It was exactly the amount of food I needed at that time of day.

First time going there and we will definitely be back. Our waitress was super nice and helpful. We got the Buffalo dive wings and they were nice and meaty like she said they would be. I wish I hadn’t eaten them though because I was filling up before I got the best Brussels I’ve ever had in my life delivered to the table. The salmon was cooked perfectly and whatever sauce they put on it was really good and I mixed it in with my rice. I couldn’t even eat half of the Brussels and salmon but they heated up well the next day for lunch. Can’t wait to go back!

Great place! Huge upgrade from cocomo joes. They really updated the place and they opened up the room next door with pool tables. Service is great and bartenders are friendly and attentive. Food is really good too! They are constantly updating and changing up the menu. I have not had any bad food there yet. They do a lot of live music as well! Great place to hang out.

Fantastic find!!! First time experience here, and I have to say, the food and service here were second to none! The menu offerings are truly solid and deliciously great. I had the brisket sliders, but as tacos along with the fried brussel sprouts and let me say, do yourself a favor and try these items. Our server, Dalton, was incredibly courteous and friendly, as well as profoundly knowledgeable about the menu. The reviews on this place are accurate. It is a very worthy place to dine with tood prices as well. Very fair cost for what you get. Great job, Duck Dive. We'll be back!!

This is an amazing place that you have to try! If it's not too busy ask the bartender for recommendations on food and drinks Tell them what you like and he'll find the perfect pairing for the meal you're looking for. We tried some of the suggested meals and drink pairings and really were impressed. This is someplace you have to try before leaving Virginia Beach. The chef is phenomenal. Will definitely be back.

We stopped in today & weren't disappointed. The service was awesome, you can really tell they care & are very attentive. The food was great, prices good & atmosphere good. We really liked the live music. Would definitely come back, zero complaints.

Everything was amazing except Miranda. Great vibe, good prices, very nice people.. except Miranda. We had a party of 10. The bartender who took his time to come out and serve us was super nice but I don’t remember his name. He had to leave, so we cashed out with him and Miranda took over. From the beginning, she had an attitude. She did not clear the table ever. So I got up and took the dirty plates to the bar who was very appreciative. She proceeded to not come check on us unless we got up and went to get her at the bar. She never wrote anything down, and assured us everything would be fine. Of course, she brings us tickets and half of them are wrong. I’m from the restaurant industry. I understand the junk she puts up with daily. We gave her none of that. Yet she still blatantly ignored a ten top. We were planning on staying there a lot longer and spending a lot more money, but we decided to leave because of her attitude.

Nice spot. Nice bar area with tvs behind the bar and seating around the restaurant too. REALLY good food. Service was fast. Employees were all friendly. We got the smash burger, fish tacos and onion rings. Would definitely come back. You won’t be disappointed.
