Great trail to get steps in while enjoying the outdoors. Keep an eye out for deer and coyotes!
This is a very easy hike, but with the most amazing view. You can walk all the way to Royal Oaks Park. Very pleasant trail and not very busy. I was there about 11:30 am and there were a few people and very shady so the temperature stayed cool. If you are looking for an easy and pleasant hike, this is definitely one of those.
Not exactly easy to walk or bike to when traffic on Royal Oaks is heavy. The paved section needs to be a bit wider. People don’t use it how it's supposed to be. Walk on the right side. They weave everywhere which makes biking the kids to school and back home that much harder. Middle schoolers have thrown rocks at each other hitting other people. The school and city won't do anything about a short presentation to the kids about common courtesy on the trail. Dogs off leash have also been an issue. Or those 20 feet leashes extending across the width of the paved and dirt trail. Just biking to the trail, drivers are aggressive, pass when I'm signaling I'm about to turn left and they have the double yellow line. If you want to be a bit speedy, go on Huntington.
This trail is about an hour walk that starts close to Monrivia to all the way to the Roal Oaks Park from east to wesr. On the north is Bradbury if walk few blocks to the east, you will see Encanto Park and San Gabriel Trail which goes 34 miles to the Seal Beacb. No other bike path in LA is next to the mountains. It's also crowded. People walk and bike together. It'salso breezy even in 95 deg F hot weather. Highly recommended! I came twice after my camcer diagnosis. Felt better after both times.
Beautiful trail, great for walking, running, biking, dog walking, or horseback riding. Well maintained, clean, water fountains on the trail and a bathroom at the park at the start.
My favorite trail in Duarte!
My most pleasant memories here , in Duarte .I really enjoyed walking in this Trail.
Great walking trail! You can also do a short bike ride on the path. I recommend this trail for a nice casual walk 👍.
Nice park and plenty of space for kids and families to play and relax. The trees provide of a lot shade and thereâs a covered gazebo for parties or for picnics. Thereâs a field on one side you could easily set up for volleyball or play some socce
Really pretty scenery. We went for a low rider car show briefly just to give the kids something to do. They loved it and so did I. I would come back for a picnic next time!
I first joined powerhouse on their 6 month membership in industry. Due to relocation, i came back a year later to Duarte. I will admit a gym like 24 hour is a lot cheaper, however, what brought me back was the staff. Not only their knowledge in the
Got Baked Salmon and volcano baked roll. Both baked to perfection. Staff is super friendly. Prices are very reasonable. I did a pick up order at the end of the night so restaurant was empty as it 5 mins before closing but they were still super patien
