DSI Security Services - Security guard service in Montgomery - 2015 E 3rd St, USA

Between my 2 separate times working for DSI from 2005-2007 and from 2020 until now I have seen so many changes for the better. The Montgomery Office has a great Branch Manager and Mrs Cynthia in the office really cares and is awesome. I would highly recommend anyone that needs a great job and is dependable to give DSI a chance.

I will never in my life represent a company like this. I was fired for no reason the new supervisor knew I was getting fired but still had me come in to work I was told the reason I got fired is due to changes and they didn’t wanna lose the contract. While I was pregnant I ran the whole guardhouse by myself feet swollen and all and the previous supervisor didn’t care. If it wasn’t for me people would still be stealing time and you did nothing about until I made the phone call because she wasn’t there and I’m working 8 hours by myself but you fire me the one that made sure everyone at golden state foods was comfortable with working. I definitely don’t recommend a company like this.

I worked for DSI for about a month. I met some awesome people there. Very professional and friendly, and as an employee, I was treated pretty well. I quit only because I was kinda embarrassed after almost crashing the company vehicle. Lol, definitely not their fault. But yeah, great company to work for and have work for you.

My husband was a security officer at Joann's & personally I would NOT reccomend anyone to work here unless you want to be treated disrespectfully! First & foremost, the supervisors over the security officers at Joann's are unfair, rude and won't try to compromise with you if you have family emergencies going on. My husband was pulling 12 hours a day Monday-Friday, staying extra hours when people were either late or called out & the moment he announced that he would be resigning because we're relocating to another state, thats when it started. They started writing him up for little childish things out of spite of him leaving, although nonetheless he loved his job. I've read reviews where people said the turn over rate is HIGH & I see why now! They will hire ANYBODY whether your drug test comes back dirty. This place needs to reevaluate on the way they treat their employees! If I could give 0 stars I would.

As a now, former employee of DSI Security Services in Montgomery, Alabama, I can now leave my veracious review after a painful year with them. First off, the recruitment and onboarding process is out of the window. Literally, anyone can get hired and commence the same day, just because this particular branch is understaffed. The turnover rate is profoundly high for this company. New hires don't have set schedules and some new employees have even been lied to about the pay rate just because the company needs somebody, anybody to fill a post. Pay rates depend on the client so none of the employees are paid equipollent. Employees only receive about two days of training per site and they're off on there on. The new employees can't retain an abundance of information if they're being bounced around from site to site. The Site Supervisors repine about new hires not knowing how to consummate a task when once again, they haven't been trained long enough. Work-Life balance has become a major issue with this company. Since they're understaffed, we were starting to be treated like robots. If an employee got sick or had a family emergency, they got chastized for it and the company has no one to replace them since people quit left and right. Management is profoundly impecunious and the branch manager treats employees as if they aren't even human. The branch manager sits high and looks low on employees. No one ever contacted him because they knew it would be a nasty encounter. I must say that this company is a great stepping stone for security. If you have no experience and wish to gain some, this company is for you. If you want to make this kind of job out of a career and move up, this isn't the company for you. Expect unexpected call-ins because it transpires a lot. Recollect, the turnover rate is high. People resign left and right, day after day. I wish all future employees the best of luck. I was lied to by my former Site Supervisor who said that after the contract with Weiser Security ended I would be brought over. I worked my butt off for almost 2 years there. I was in a very bad motorcycle accident on February 9th of this year. I kept asking my former Site Supervisor if I was going to be hired on an he kept telling me he didn't know. Come to find out from one of my sources he had me flagged that is why I didn't get hired on. Here is a Site Supervisor that leaves early an his post to have lunch with the HR lady. I was always the one he could count on to cover shifts work overtime an come in early when he needed me an this is how I get treated. When I found out what he did to me I called my husband an cried because I really enjoyed my job.

security is low rated. Elderly man sleeps most of time on the job. loaded with meds which most of time keep him drosey. People are entering the building with weapons and the alarm doesnt't go off half the time . Scary!

Tried to make me cut my beard for a security job for Hyundai 💀 What does my beard has to do with the job? This is why this company will never find loyal, dedicated workers by pick at small or nothing for a job.
