Droopy's Bar and Grill - Bar & grill in Elizabeth - 620 Boston Hollow Rd, USA

My husband and I drove past Droopy's many times while we were out and about. One day in the Summer they had a flower vendor there and we decided to get flowers & some bbq food to bring home. It was pretty good, so we stopped by there again and went inside this time. On the weekends they have a BBQ buffet that only costs $12.95. They had salad, pulled pork, ribs, kielbasa, hot dogs, hamburgers, pork chops, green beans, French fries, potatoes, and even desserts!! It was a terrific deal and the food was delicious!!

All you can eat BBQ buffet is very limited. They don't even have any chicken because that is what I think of with all you can eat BBQ. They have dry pork chops, but I don't really associate pork chops with bbq, and they had hamburgers, which, again, I don't associate with BBQ. In the end, I really don't think it's worth the price, especially with the limited selection and bad conditions around the buffet. If you go here just order food don't go to the buffet. They have good food, but the buffet is not worth the price.

Went on a recommendation. The place is very casual. Needs some TLC. We had the BBQ buffet and the food was very good ( hot sausage, pulled pork, macncheese, burgers) and the price is right ( skip the mashed potatoes). We had the "nurse ratchet" of waitresses. Just horrible. Rolled her eyes when we asked for water and was visibly annoyed at any questions. I had 2 of the cutest boys ever with me ( 10 and 19) and I mentioned ice cream for them ( big freezer right by our table). Well, after her reaction and long explanation about it was "too hard to scoop"...she convinced us to stop bothering her with food sales. We declined to trouble her. She cleared 1 plate from our 4 top table that we had 5 people eating...just a nightmare She really ruined it for me. I don't think we'll go back... you might have better luck.

Absolutely magnificent I always get my kielbasa there best ever. Showed up a little early today had some fun waiting. hung out ,bartender was lovely ,had a wonderful time .it was my friend's birthday also. got food to go just got home the chicken fajitas were wrapped perfectly the ribs were outstanding thanks again for the lovely afternoon. It's nice to go somewhere and enjoy yourself.

Grabbed takeout. The bartender was nice And the BBQ was pretty good. Kielbasa was better than the brisket.

Love this place!! Droopy is a wonderful guy and his BBQ is out of this world, the Batman sauce it’s good and the ribs and brisket are some of the best in town. Not to mention it’s all smoked!!! Highly recommended

Love the roasted chicken, steak salad and battered fries. Spouse love the chops with heavy weight sauce. Ribs hit or miss. Eclectic decorating. Good wine pour.

This bar is now or whatever the Blaine Hill BBQ. The food has always been ok they still don't know what a pork steak is. Their BBQ sauce is ok but isn't not always a steady concept sometimes more vinegar than other days. Beer fries are great service was fast and fun to engage. The location is much better than the old location and with the move comes a few new items like crab legs and muscles. There was an all you can eat BBQ sign outside as well. Time will tell and a couple more visits before I can give it a solid rating.. the vinegar taste keeps it at a max 4 star...
