Not many places to park. Cute area that was pretty quite. Lots of joggers and some kids swinging nearby but overall a nice place to sit for lunch or just to relax. I definitely recommend swinging by and taking a nice little break.
My favorite (and closest to me) local swim spot. The driftwood Bay has 2 patches of kelp usually full of life and further out, when depths get ~10m, are fields of seapens.
Coleman pool is great; 50m lanes and one of the few saltwater ones. They fill it from the sound, but they don't let sea life grow in it :(
Along the beach facing the ferry, there's ribbons of flat floor seaweed and the fern-like sargassum.
Seals frequent the area; sometimes you can catch them hunting thru the kelp and the juveniles are so curious of the flailing land dwellers that venture into their realm.
Don't leave valuables unattended, Ive had my re-warm gear rifled thru, but apparently even crackheads don't want to steal sea-stained sweats?
The current can get strong and is unpredictable. In general, the Sound goes south with a rising tide, and north with the falling tide as it drains into the ocean, but this area don't care, Lincoln does what Lincoln wants.
If you're looking for a lovely walk along the beach then this park is fine. However, if you are planning to go and see the driftwood sculptures, they are underwhelming at best. We could only locate about half a dozen carvings and some of those were so worn it was difficult to decipher exactly what we were looking at.
We live nearby and often see seals. Such a relaxing place. Views are great and even better in winter with snow capped Olympics just in front. Hoping to see orcas one day
A tradition has sprung up amongst the hikers & beachcombers: the word "LOVE" is spelled out on a big boulder using rocks, shells, twigs & pinecones.
Whenever the word is messed up by the weather or the teenagers, it gets spelled out again.
Very Good place for take a walk
Gorgeous gravel beach with beautiful driftwood and panoramic views
Gorgeous spot, the sculpture is quite tall and makes for a lovely photo

This is a super neat hidden gem! I went here once in a date, and once with my boys. It was tough to keep an eye on my eight year old to keep him from breaking an antique phone! I want to visit once more just by myself so I can take my time looking at
Great place to learn about the history and purpose of the Locks, and completely for free. Comes with a free theatre showing too. Worth checking out as this small visitor centre is highly educational.
Went in for the Nobody Lives Here exhibit and joined a tour of the old hotel and shop adjacent. Our guide was excellent and did a good job engaging a quiet group and providing some interesting information. The tour felt immersive and is a must for th

My wife and I came here by accident. We were both very pleasantly surprised by the taste of real coffee. But the main thing is a pleasant atmosphere, unobtrusive quiet music, a cultured audience and very friendly staff. A small coffee shop with a big
