We have been coming to the Driftwood for many years as it is an amazing relaxing place! The owner, Irene, is extremely accommodating with whatever you may need! The Driftwood is just a short drive to the beach ; downtown is charming and relaxing restaurants! |The Driftwood is a special place in time! Charming cottages that bring you back in time! An environment that is relaxing and friendly!! This year we have friends who will be joining us at the Driftwood!
Very well maintained property and the room was super clean! Apparently was recently updated so everything is nice and bright with new appliances. The room has a kitchenette with everything you need for an extended stay and want to cook your own meals.||Irene, the owner, is friendly and super helpful; I'll be back if I'm in the area!
Talk about caring and helpful people, it doesn’t get any better than Irene, the lovely owner of the Driftwood. We were on a boat nearby when a few days storm occurred. For safety, we wanted to get off the boat. We booked a room, but at the last minute called and cancelled, unsure if it would be safe to dinghy into shore. She not only was great about canceling our reservation, but she also called the next day to plead with us to try and get off the boat because it was going to get worse. We took her advice. When we arrived at her adorable, spanking clean cottages, she came by and offered to take us to the grocery store. If you get a chance, come visit this lovely place. You won’t be sorry.
Great 3rd generation owner. Family business. Very caring about the comfort of their guests! Excellent home away from home for the winter! Great dock and very comfortable rooms!
This place is amazing! Not Fancy but nice. Perfect view of the water. Quiet and perfect for relaxing. The owner(Irene) is very personable and friendly. Can't wait to go back in the spring and this fall.
The rooms were clean and nice. Anything we wanted or needed was made available to us. Everyone was so easy to work with. We were coming in late, but they accommodated us easily. The Driftwood Motel reminds you of Florida years ago, but is just the most fun. Three groups from our family were there. We each had our own place. There are tables and chairs outside that made it easy and fun for us to be together. We had a great time!!! I highly recommend it.

Our stay at Driftwood was very pleasant! The property is well maintained & the cottages are all very clean & comfortable. The property has a beautiful view of the river right from your room along with a dock to fish off of!
