There is a good restaurant next door, and you get 10% off your bill if you let them know. The water pressure was very low. So the shower was like s slow drip in our room.
Lady was very nice at front desk, the girls cleaning rooms do good job , place has fresh paint in rooms and outside...nice place other than parking. With the lazy pirate next door you have to fight for a parking spot and the city charges $25 and up for day parking every where you go .. All and all had a nice stay for few nights. It's call Pirates Cove now
perfect place for a night away with our dogs! Reservation process was easy, check in and checkout was smooth. Love that that have a fenced in pet area with waste bags. Our pups loved being able to stretch. Only issue was the ice machine was out of order BUT the restaurant next door was happy to help. We’ll be back 😀
I thought itvwas a decent clean place. The pet fee was almost equal to 2 nights stay. I thought that was high. But we have 2 small pocket dogs. This is a good place if you want ro stay up and party. I do not. It is loud all night. And I mean all night. If you sre looking foe a quite place to rest at night this is not it. I did not get hardly any sleep just checked out at 630am because of being up all night because of the upstairs TV being wide open all night. Called the front desk. Got nowhere. So got up packed and left. Want a good clean room decent price and don't care about noise this is your place.
The room wasn't terrible for what we paid, certainly not the best for the price, a very strange bed that is made of metal at the bottom and makes a loud noise if you hit it with your foot by accident. The staff was reasonably amenable. But the biggest problem I have with this place is the pet fee, they charged us double for having a dog with us! Over $50 without warning. I've never seen a pet fee so high. AND THEY DONT EVEN HAVE CARPETS IN THE ROOM LOL. Don't stay here, there are way better places that won't rip you off every chance they get.
Floors were FILTHY!!!!! It's a good location but that's all this dump has going for it! Our room NEEDED toilet paper emergency but at 8:30 am, the office was closed and I had to call and wait for someone to come get the toilet paper. NEVER, EVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!! My little doggy didn't even want to walk on the floor. They were that dusty and dirty! So far overpriced! Charges rates like a 5 star facility but only provides a bad Motel 6.
Unfortunately, we got duped on this place. It sounded like a fun and happening hotel. The ONLY saving grace was the restaurant/ bar in the same parking lot as the motel. The Lazy Pirate. They were excellent. Fun and great staff. Young and vibrant. The motel was not. Completely overpriced, not as advertised. The staff was nice, friendly enough and young. The rooms were like an old beach motel. Not very clean. There was a take out box in the drawers, with food in it. The comforter had a small blood stain. The sheets had black marker on the corners to mark what size the sheet was for the bed size. "D", "K" etc. The water in the shower sat for 3 minutes going on and off (pressure). I have a video of this because it was totally unbelievable, as we seemed to be 1 of only 2 guests to the whole motel. Had no hair dryer in room. One roll of toilet paper. 1 garbage with 2 bags. We got the "suite." Was not worth the money at all. It wouldn't have seemed as bad if it wasn't so overpriced. It is in a decent location. Close enough to boardwalk. And the restaurant is really a big plus. But I do not think the restaurant is affiliated with motel. The pool was almost right off the main road. Very disappointing. But it does have alot of potential. Appropriate prices would be one great way to make the stay less of a letdown. Overpriced by far.
Read a lot of bad reviews so me being me I wanted to come check it out for myself and it's better than what I've heard. It's very close to the beach and pet friendly. I will be coming back here. It's clean yet slightly outdated but for the price and location and the amenities you really can't beat it. I would recommend this place to my friends. All we and our pups need is a place to shower and sleep.

Took the family at the end of August for our annual beach trip. First time staying here, but always go to the Carolina Beach Kure Beach area. Great little place for a family vacation. Couldn't have asked for anything more. It's right on the beach. Ac
Was greeted the second I walked in the door the hostess was very nice. I took a seat at the bar. I just loved the ambiance of the place and music selection. The bartender recommended his daily special cocktail, and I was glad he did. I started wit
Where my dream started. Itâs all because a boy asked me on a date and he took me to this exact spot 8 years ago. Bbq burgers on the beach and watched a full moon rise! You could drive all the way down back then and it was much cheaper! Fast forward
Great location. And a good deal. The old-school 2nd-floor 2-BR suite was very clean. Nice view of Carolina Lake. Short walk to the beach. No complaints. Would/will do it again. Mary runs a tidy ship.
Loved Carolina Beach. The boardwalk fireworks show was the best I have ever seen in my life. Brits Donuts is a must, and all the shops are great. Super ice cream shops too.
Best run business in the area. Beyond efficient. Small breakfast house with delish home-cooked meals. Fresh and well prepared southern breakfast along with many new school options. Grits were among the best I've ever had. And I eat them several times
This is the place to go as a sushi lover! It was my 20th birthday and we decided to have a birthday dinner here. The fish was so buttery and fresh! I got salmon roe as well as sushi and it was so fresh that it tasted like they had just collected it
The last time I came here was 2018 but I finally came back and itâs just as wonderful! The crab dip is my favorite thing, but everything is delicious! The waitstaff is very friendly and polite and the atmosphere is super cozy and tropical. I will p
We stayed at the Seawitch on New Yearâs Eve. The lady running the motel was super friendly. We arrived a couple hours early. While we couldnât check in early since she was short staffed and the room wasnât ready yet, she did allow us to remain
