First time my husband and I stopped here. We kept hearing good things about Drifter’s so decided to give it a go. We both ordered cheeseburgers wild side, French fries and Diet Pepsi. The building was closed at the time so we had no option but to use the drive thru. The line was long but really… it didn’t take too long to get through the line.
First impression, hamburger was very delicious, reminded me of McDonald’s with their thin patties and skinny French fries. Not crazy about the fries but some people do like skinny fries. They weren’t overly salted which was good.
We didn’t feel full off the single patty and French fries so we went back through the drive thru (much shorter this time) and ordered a regular vanilla and strawberry shake. They were a bit tough to suck through the straws but as it melted it got easier. Both of us tried each others and agreed they both tasted the exact same, only mine was pink (strawberry).
I do appreciate the meal was a fair price. $9.85 for the cheeseburger combo. $3.79 for regular shake.
Overall, it was a good littler burger joint. Not my first choice but still good if in the neighborhood.
Drive thru only! OK, so I'm trying it out for the first time. I've heard it's like or better than in and out. Let me say in MY Opinion, it's very much like in and out, but it's definitely not better. The best part is the burger, which is great and dam near close to in and out, but the freshness and quality is a bit lacking with my one experience. The French fries were not good at all. They tasted like they were cooked in old oil or lard with a bad and overwhelming aftertaste. I tried the strawberry shake, and it was OK but lacked flavor. The prices are a bit more expensive than in n out, and I still prefer the double double and animal style fries. Also, the dining room being closed sucks obviously...
Overall, I still recommend giving them a try because you will like it and possibly love it!
yummy drivethrough and the shakes are good!! out of all the flavors i like strawberry the best! the portion of the fries was huge
The buger was delicious! My husband got the grilled chicken and didn't really like it though. If you go here I recommend sticking to the burger. I should have gotten a double patty because there wasn't much burger to topping ratio but it was delicious either way.
Ate here for the first time this evening. The customer service is great 😃 the young man who waited on us was so knowledgeable and friendly.
Unfortunately the burger not so much. The flavor was good with the grilled onions I got on my Cheeseburger but the patty was so small and thin you couldn't really taste it. My tomato slice was thicker than the hamburger meat, what a pity. It's probably why you get a generous amount of French fries with it.
I like going here because it is local and the prices are pretty good compared to everything else these days. The burger I had, hit the spot. The fries were good too but I wish they had something like a Cajun option for seasoning. Cars line up quick for lunch so just a heads up!
The drive thru line is always crazy long but the wait is 100% worth it♥️.
The food is so good! I love the sauce that they put on the burgers!!! The staff has always been super nice and seem to want to make sure you get your food exactly how you want it! Great little burger place!!!
Excellent food.. burger is fresh to order on a nice toasted bun. Whom ever greeted when ordering was nice and person who took money was nice and smiling

Stopped in on 11/12/23 while in the springs for a quick weekend getaway. We are always up for a new place and a burger sounded wonder.
This is in downtown Colorado Springs and right across the street from Acacia Park with plenty of shopping around.
I recently discovered a gem of a burger joint that's a calorie enthusiast's dream come true. This place takes burgers to a whole new level with their massive creations that are practically a work of art. I couldn't believe my eyes (or my taste buds)
My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didnât get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
