Drift Cafe is DELICIOUS!!! They seriously have the best food. It's our go-to breakfast stop in Wilmington. Their pancakes are so unique and delicious! My husband always gets the Biscoff Pancakes (he's obsessed) and I get the Avocado Toast or Crispy Potato Brekkie!

Greeted by the sweetest host! Both meals were very filling and nourishing. We had the grilled chicken wrap and the shrimp avocado salad +plus the super green smoothie! Can’t wait to be back!

(Another) Five star brunch at Drift Cafe in Wrightsville Beach (photos). The cappuccino and scrambled egg toast with smoky roasted mushrooms and parmesan were superb! Service by Mari was excellent. Check the menu attached --- lots to choose from... Indoor or outdoor (covered) dining. Just over the bridge ON the Wrightsville Beach side. Free parking.

This is an update on my previous review. I had them at 3 stars…now a 4 I went back yesterday 9-16-23 and the food was really good. So I increased the overall score to 4 and the food to a 4. The execution on my food was very good. Eggs and bacon were cooked perfect and the bread was delicious. PREVIOUS-The coffee, location and service is really good. The food product they use is good but the execution for me is not good enough for the price but its worth trying. Location is a historic WB building that Causeway cafe use to be in.

Wonderful brunch which included an avocado, softest scrambled eggs, substituted salmon for bacon, and a delicious citrus vinaigrette dressing over greens. Mimosa had the right proportion of OJ and Champagne. Great service to top it off. Love this place!

I just moved to Wilmington and decided to try this place after reading the great reviews online. I have to say I will be back 100 times over! The atmosphere is cute, the food is delicious and the hot cappuccino I ordered was pure serenity. On top of that, I told my waitress I just moved here and she went out of her way to write down some of her favorite spots in Wilmington for me to explore (I SO wish I could remember her name! My bad) but she was so sweet. I know I’m new here but this spot is undoubtedly a favorite! Lol

We arrived around 8:15 am and were seated right away, there were four in our party. We ordered breakfast from our friendly waitress plus a smoothie and ice coffee, both were good albeit served in very small glasses given their cost. I ordered the Pulled Pork Benny, the pork was dry and lukewarm, what saved the meal were the two perfectly poached eggs and the sauce on top. Roasted potatoes were seasoned well and crispy but again, just lukewarm. Everyone in our party agreed the food was tasty but not served warm enough.
