Drake's Jeffersonville - Restaurant in Jeffersonville - 1451 Veterans Pkwy, USA

I have been to drakes multiple times and we have LOVED it. Today, NOT SO MUCH. I was very disappointed. It took our server 15 minutes to even greet us (that is usually the first red flag) Secondly, she did not speak fluent English. The issue with that being, she couldn’t answer any of my questions, she didn’t understand what I was requesting (loaded tater tots) and was rude about it. Refills on our drinks never happened. Third, I requested loaded tots as my side, she asked me what that meant and I explained it to her and she acted like she understood. When my meal came out I received the tots in the first picture. Nothing on them but some shredded cheese that was not even melted, the tots were so over cooked they were hard as a rock. I tell her they were supposed to be loaded and she then brings me out another plate of tots (2nd picture) and they were harder then the first ones and it also looked like they threw cheese and bacon on top and threw them in the microwave. I didn’t eat a single one of them. When I asked for the manager, she told me she would let the manager know about it but I would still have to pay for them because it was part of my meal.. that’s fine. But I probably won’t be back, which is very disappointing. I hope someone that works there sees this and doesn’t let this happen to anyone else.

We stopped in here last night cause they were open later than most restaurants. Was not disappointed with the food nor the service. They were obviously busy cause they were the only decent food place open at 11pm. There was 4 of us and we all ordered something different. They were out of salad so that was not an option. But since most of us are carnivores we made due with actual not rabbit food. The food was great the server was on top of the drinks and we are some drinkers for sure. Overall it's a must have restaurant for them later nights.

Buffalo chicken mac- the chicken was good, well cooked and well seasoned but didn’t have enough cheese for the actual pasta part. it came in an awkward asymmetrical bowl but otherwise it was just okay. Blt sandwich- it was good, everything you’d expect from a blt nothing special Teriyaki chicken bowl- i wish the chicken was more uniform in size but it tasted amazing and the asparagus was perfectly cooked. rice was good, Munchy crunchy roll- was good but didn’t exceed anything expected. wish it came with spicy mayo. sweet potato fries- they were good but came cold, seemed a little thin as well.

My mama has been raving about this place since it opened (earlier this year?) I finally got around to giving it a try, and I was not disappointed!! I had the fish with tots, and loved both. And the giant cookie a la mode was OUTSTANDING!! I highly recommend Drake's!

We sat on the heated patio with the fireplace burning. It was warm out there. The food was great, and our server (Bailey?) was impeccable. We had 14 people in our group, and no one felt left out.

the wait was a good long 45 minutes. customers loitering at doorway. which is rude. they should have an appointed wait area. i found out the Host entered the wrong number for my phone number so let me say, after 25 minutes I am glad I checked back in with the hostess and gave her my correct phone number. after another 20 minutes I went back to host stand and she said they called me already. they politely apologized and said we were next. after a quick 2 minutes maybe, they seated us. a lot of staff inside. seems like every worker was doing their job. the place was backed full of customers. menus at table. after a few minutes or so the server came and took our drink orders. she returned with our drinks and then took our food order. food runner returned with our food within a reasonable time. they missed bringing our requested condiments but we ate our meals anyway. my dressed smashed cheddar burger was delicious. Both bun and meat beat my expectations. One of the TOP burgers around. the Sweet Potato Fries we’re yum yum good too. I did ask for well done although meat wasn’t quite as done as desired although flavor and appeal made up for it. seems to be a Nice modern restaurant atmosphere with televisions and a big bar.

We ordered the fila and sushi and the sushi was amazing, but I have to say the fila was tiny and not very flavorful!!

It was our first time there and everything was great! Kourtney, our server, was amazing! Thank you, Kourtney, for making our experience a memorable and highly enjoyable one. We will definitely be back!
