Gorgeous scenic beach with a pretty jetty that you can walk on (just be careful obviously) we enjoyed spending time here for a couple days on our vacation to Wells Beach. Water was too cold for me even in end of August, but still lots of people swimming. Definitely check it out!
This is such a beautiful, radical, and jazzy place to visit! I happened to come at the perfect time right before it got to busy, but not too cold either👌. Wow this beach is so clean compared to those of the West Coast, and even some on the East Coast too. I spent an entire day here, and I could spend many more. Without a doubt my new favorite beach spot! 😌
Plage superbe. Moins achalandée que les autres. Grand stationnement (payant). Places handicapées très proches de la plage.
The freezing weather only contributed to this places beauty. I was amazed!!! Out of season was probably the best time to see it all.
This is such a perfect little beach, it almost feels fake! (I’m really hoping it isn’t fake, it looks pretty real to me) We came at the perfect time before it got too crowded. And it was so clean!
I LOVE Drake's Island, what a gorgeous little spot. Get here early for parking during the active season.
Get there early if you want to find parking. The parking ticket machine always maxes the time to 5pm and cost $20. They really jam pack the cars, so make sure park in ana area to get out easily. The kids love finding crabs under the rocks. The water is way too cold for swimming but some brave folks go deep into the water. We will be back!
It's a great place to hike the trails and see the estuary. It's well worth the small entry fee. $6 for adults, kids are cheaper, and five and under are free; they take cash CC, Venmo, Square Pay, and other electronic payment types. Claire, the entry
A true American experience! You will have to wait a little bit to be seated but usually less than 15 min. If you are in the South of Maine you have to pass through this really authentic diner. Plate are enormous and everything is delicious. Lobster-b
I booked online but arrived at 11:30 due to a flight delay. They were waiting for me with a key and the giant king bed was super comfortable! Will come again when I have more time to explore the local area.
I have been going to Bo-Mar Hall since I was a little kid. My father, being an antique collector, still loves this place to this day. I now bring my daughter here and it's just like I remember it 30 years ago. There are always new items to see and us
Seafood was really good, we had seafood combo with baked potato and salad. Amazing!! One chicken finger dinner, also amazing, lightly fried not greasy, very delicious. Also one of our party had the fried haddock sandwich with fries he was extremely h

On a weekend when wait times were often more than an hour, this restaurant was such a welcomed reprieve. Large garden with a live band and a walk up bar, so you don't feel like you're waiting at all. We took a first available table, which was indoors
A Family owned Trading Post with some of the most authentic Maine items & beach supplies on Rte 1 in Wells Maine. When i think of Maine I think of Lobsters the beach & The Moose!
Such a fine selection of "quality" items you will be astounded! I boug
Wells plaza is an amazing space; from hannafords with delicious and only slightly more expensive foods. to going on a little shopping spree at dollar tree.
