The pond is very nice, with comfortable benches and edifices of solid masonry. Well-maintained grounds and trees, though some structures in the park have been covered in graffiti, and some of the roadways are crumbling, so better maintenance is needed.
A shabby chic park with a large lake, big beautiful trees, lots of geese and ducks, a cafe-type spot (wasn’t open when we were there), benches with park views, and a well worn path for walking and maybe a little biking, or biking for a little one. It’s comfortable, with several families when we visited, and surrounded by some old school houses. It’s a fine vibe, and like Newburgh itself, it’s got a lot of charm, potential, and history. There was more to explore than we had time to see. Could use a playground and a modest repaving, or maybe some fresh funds for an imaginative reinterpretation, once all the new projects around town get their due. Look forward to returning.
Absolutely beautiful park featuring paved walking paths, freshly cut grass, a huge lake, a small cafe and plenty of on street parking! Gorgeous trees throughout the park offer plenty of shade for picnics and grounds were immaculate! Just beautiful and peaceful
Absolutely beautiful park and one of my favorite places to go to photograph birds. I can generally find mallard ducks, wood ducks, geese, gulls, and pigeons. On rare occasions I've seen great blue heron and egrets. Love this place, it's a great place to go with friends! And if you like to feed the ducks, be sure to bring bird seed as they'll run right over to you. DO NOT feed them bread as bread is terrible for their digestive systems and backs them up.
Lovey park..I notice a lot of homeless people sleep in this park... please open another building in Newburgh for the homeless ...and putting them out of a building 6am and come back later, to be standing around outside nowhere to go, rather rain, sleet, snow you have no choice but to stand out there and wait till its time to go back in, when they should have a sitting room and something through out the day to do rather than being put out at 6am...HELP THE HOMELESS PEOPLE SLEEPING IN THIS PARK!!!!
It was beautiful, but the upkeep of the park is sad the water is murky and bottles bags condoms on the floor the most beautiful part was we seen either a mother or father duck with there ducklings
It's a nice and clean peaceful park. Lots of grass for the kids to run on and play on. For where it is located the mood is calming

Such a beautiful, pleasant park with nice hiking trails that go around the lake. Very well kept and clean by staff members. I really was impressed by how clean the restrooms were. I'm so glad we signed up for to be members. Also a great place to walk
Only joined a few weeks ago and Iâm already hooked ! The coaches are amazing , the members are so welcoming and motivating. Such a great group of people at every class time. I actually enjoy and look forward to working out now. Worth every penny !
Saxon Hall is always an awesome place to come and have some fun with a large group, or in the case of this visit, just you and your partner! We made a reservation for 8:30pm but came early and luckily there was a lane open so we were able to get star
As a new resident to the area, I was worried if Iâd find the equivalent or better Jamaican food as the Bronx. I was pleasantly surprised as both visits to GK were met with wonderful customer service by the female serving and the male cashing. Iâm
The tea here is phenomenal. The service is on point! The tea-ristas are friendly and personal when it comes to delivering an experience. They were very helpful when explaining menu items and let my friend and I try several teas before deciding whi

Classic joint with great quality dogs (with a casing). Chili dog is a winnerâsauce is thin but very flavorful. Plenty of other topping options and meal specials. My colleagueâs son described Peteâs as âthe most amazing place in the worldâ a
As a huge fan of Citrus in New Windsor, Iâm so excited I finally got a chance to try out her sister restaurant Orange Hill. Everything we had was exceptional. The swordfish was cooked perfectly. Our service was great and the interior has a modern a
I love this place so much. It takes patience sometimes because they get super busy since they're so amazing and well priced. They treat you like family even the first time you come in. The waitress whom I call "mama" is the absolute sweetest person a
Great service and great attention to detail with everything. The tacos were overwhelming with flavor and the drinks very carefully made. They are very well organized and staff expertly trained. Everything was explaining with detailâ¦.most importantâ
So we have seen a lot of amazing reviews and mentions of this place for a couple years. The other night we were in town and even though it says reservations recommended it was 7:00 pm and figured why not try a table for two. 10 minutes later we had a
