Granddaughters loved the variety of the playground equipment. The splash pad was also a huge hit.
Park is lovely, very large, and has a lot to offer for all ages.
Has a nice splash pad. Playground is great for climbing on. Our kids wished we were here in the winter to try the sled hill out.
From long time ago until now this park has gone through a lot. There is special history with this park alotta people may not know about and some it is dealing with the black community. Look into it,it's a great place for kids, there's a library here and the MTD or the city's mass transit system comes by here (the east grey, and the west grey).
You guys were amazing throwing the eggsploration. We had an absolute blast and all your efforts and the time put into the event was amazing and greatly appreciated!!!
It was the most fun I have had an a very long time thank to the Champaign park district for making this such a good experience
Love going to riot fest here
Only been there a few times for kids' little league games and playing outside the library, but this is a perfect park. Big spaces for running and playing, a fitness course for adults and big kids, two baseball fields, a small water feature, and a big playground. For little league nights, lots of families are there and it's a perfect atmosphere with a concession stand where they grill right behind home plate. It feels like a throwback to when whole families hung out together and kids played outside and grew up playing and running around in parks. I hope everyone gets a chance to check it out.
Had a great time sledding with the boys, the hill is just the right size for it!!!
This is such a sweet neighborhood park. There's a walking trail around it, an excellent hill for sledding or rolling, soccer fields, and tennis courts. The playground is small but has lots of fun features, including a spot for smaller kids. My kids
Plain Jane but nice little skatepark. Geared towards skaters, but great for practicing basic BMX skills. Features include: small quarter, flat rail, hand rail, small gap, stairs, ledges, hubba, banks.
The Flannel fest was really nice. Me and my wife attended last year and this year was just as nice. With more food trucks and vendors. Live band and more. Hope the Champaign park district continues to do more of these events year round for the comm
I havenât seen such a high-quality prairie since my summer at a nature preserve. I am absolutely in love with this park! There were tons of wildflowers, grasses, and unique bird species. Thereâs also a huge park for the kiddos. Whoeverâs takin
Great place to relax, plenty of parking. It's a nice little lake right in the city. The 0.8 mile path around the lake is especially nice to walk, jog, or bike.
Great for the kiddos and the doggos also the walkers, joggers/runners will enjoy the excellent sidewalks. Nice play area for the children
Some options for sports too
Well maintained
ENJOY
This is a very clean and nice park. We enjoyed watching the Cross Country team run at the Sectional Meet today at Dodds Park. They have nice indoor bathrooms located in several different sections of the park.
