This was such a cool hotel! It’s really close to Harvard square and the Harvard athletic center. It gives a really cool futuristic feeling. The open hallways make a big echo, which at night can be a little annoying but not too bad. They have a nice little store selling snacks. They also give free and delicious cookies to guests. The rooms are really nice! In the room we stayed in there are two rooms that can be separated by a sliding door. One of the rooms has a queen size bed. The other room has a full size Murphy bed that was very comfortable. The separation is great for families when the parents don’t want to have to hear the kids. The bathroom is a nice size. It dose have a very small kitchen. My only other little complaint is that is is definitely on the expensive side. It’s not the best place if you are looking for a budget friendly hotel.

It's been eight years since we stayed at the Doubletree Suites. We had accumulated a bunch of Hilton Honors Points and decided to cash them in this time and decided to try the Doubletree again. Since then the hotel has definitely made improvements. Every staff member we met had a smile on their face. Everyone we interacted with at the check in desk was helpful and even went a bit beyond. (We got quite a few delicious Doubletree Cookies.) Our room was 617, one of the ones renovated with a murphy bed in the living room. First thing to say about the room is that the thermostat worked. We like nice cold temperatures in the hot summer and this thermostat let us take the temperature down to 65, with that temperature maintained until we changed it manually. The bed was extra comfy and the pillows we've ever encountered in a hotel. The bedroom was also free of useless throw pillow and bed coverings. Toiletries in the bathroom were Crabtree and Evelyn and the wall mounted dispensers are very convenient as opposed to wasteful little plastic bottles .There was some road noise, but not enough to disturb our sleep. We saw a show at Scullers and had dinner on the rooftop restaurant. All the food we had here was excellent. We chose the breakfast buffet and were not disappointed. Servers even welcomed us back every morning we arrived the restaurant. Prices were typical hotel prices. We did have dining credits as Hilton Gold members. Yes, parking is expensive, just like it is anywhere in Boston. We parked our car and took advantage of the shuttle. When the shuttle wasn't running one evening, they called a Lyft for us. Any time we called a Lyft the ride showed up very quickly.

This hotel has so many positives! Super clean, friendly staff, great suites (comfortable beds, spacious), and convent location. We had a water view/city view and it was beautiful to look out and see the rowers on the river. Also, to see the lights of Boston at night. Definitely would have been five stars if the shower didn’t cause the smoke detector to go off—this happened repeatedly. Front desk let us know it was common. Also, disappointed my concerns were not responded to by management when I contacted them after our stay. This hotel would be a big No for families/individuals who have sound sensitivities!

Good value when we stayed. Great service. Clean. Pay up if you want for their breakfast - 5 stars. Fusion cafe was 4 stars. Nice location on the river, and near main roads. Pool nice. Not near many of the sites of the city so we utilized their shuttle and Uber's.

We had a fantastic stay at the Double Tree in Cambridge. Beautiful hotel!! We had a water front view and were 5 minutes away from Whole Foods! The facility felt new and fresh. We love the free shuttle rides to Harvard Square and Boston University. Thank you Ranalda with HGV!

My family just returned from a stay at the DoubleTree Suites in Cambridge and our stay was great! We stayed for a week and enjoyed most of what the hotel has to offer. The room was perfect for my family of three. We chose a king suite with sofa bed. Side note on that, all of the sofa-bed rooms are located only on the 3rd floor. While our room was not ready when we arrived at 4:30PM, they were able to get one prepared within 30 minutes after our arrival. The rooms are large and nicely split into two areas with the bathroom in the middle. My seven-year-old loved having his "own room" in the living room with the sofa bed.||||Being a Diamond Hilton Honors member, we had $36 daily food credit which we used at the resteraunts and also the Made Market. On our first night, we enjoyed dinner in the Fusion Lounge. While it is small, they had plenty of tables and the food was good and arrived quickly. My son enjoyed the personal TVs at each table to watch the baseball game. On our last night we also visited the lounge for dessert and drinks.||||The Boathouse 400 restaurant is only open for breakfast and we ate there three times. Each was great, including the $10 full buffet for kids. We switched between the buffet and al-a-carte menu each day. While it was pretty expensive for breakfast, we were fine paying as our credit covered most of the meal cost.||||The pool and hot tub area is really an added bonus. We enjoyed this on three rainy afternoons, and we were usually the only ones in there. My wife used the fitness center often and thought it was a great option to have at the hotel.||||The overall location of the hotel was perfect for us as we drove. While you do have to pay to park in the garage, it was safe and convenient as we drove from PA. We were also 15 minutes or less from all of the attractions we wanted to visit and everything was easy to get to. While nothing is really close-enough to easily walk to - my son and I did venture on a walk one day and were able to stop at a Trader Joe's about 10 minutes across the river.||||The one negative I will mention is only if you are staying on the bottom floors and there is a party with a DJ in one of the lower rooms. On our first night there, they hosted a birthday party with a DJ. We could clearly hear the music and DJ announcements in our room through the walls/floor. Luckily it was over by 9:30 and was only that one night.||||If we ever decide to visit Boston again, my family will 100% choose this hotel. The room was great, everyone there was super helpful and the location was perfect.

Mixed feelings on this one. There was good and many disappointing aspects, most of which had to do with overpriced things and the nickel and diming related to it, and also a little bit related to guest consideration. Breakfast was hugely overly expensive. It also began way too late for the business traveler at 7:00 a.m. very inconsiderate for your guests. Because of this start time, a co-worker ordered room service, which begins at 6:00 a.m.. he ordered right after 6:00, but was still waiting after 7- what's the use? Not to mention the price after three added fees was over $30. We also visited the rooftop bar/restaurant. It had a great view and nice atmosphere, but there were few choices for food and a single beer price of $12 is again ridiculous. The parking fee was simply gouging in my opinion as well. All this extra on top of an already pricey room. I was treated rudely on a call to the front desk as well. It's really too bad, because the property and rooms are really nice and newer. The room is very spacious and even though my window was facing the river as well as the nearby roads, I never heard any noise. The location is convenient as well as long as you have a car or don't mind getting an Uber etc as it was not walkable very much however.

We stayed here for one night visiting colleges and I wished we would have stayed longer. The room was excellent and clean and my daughter said the murphey bed was so comfortable. We had river views from our room and had an excellent meal on the rooftop.
