I was here last week for vacation for 4 days. I loved the guy that helped us when we entered he helped us get a room at a low price online. He was very helpful. The rooms are very clean and I loved the view. I will definitely be going back. I love this hotel it's way better than any other. The staff here is very nice. Except this one lady that gives the towel at the pool she would be a little arrogant. But everything else was amazing definitely recommend this hotel.

I would be remiss if I didn’t write this review. As flight crew, we live out of a suitcase and are on the road 3 to 4 days a week, missing birthdays, and other special events with family. I would like to give big hugs and thank you to Sandra Dee and Shiena for making one of my crewmembers birthdays, such a special event with a gift basket showing LUV with a genuine and sincere sense of caring. They went above and beyond hospitality. Thank you, thank you thank you for making her birthday something special when she was away from home and her children. You treat us so well and we appreciate you.

Kristina at the front desk was wonderful and kind. Truly made my stay better. She adds great value to the Hilton brand simply by asking the right questions and fixing issues with my stay and others as I witnessed when sitting in lobby. A kind sole people person with a care for the traveler. Thanks Kristine! Make it a wonderful day!|Dan P.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree Hotel and had a mixed experience. While the hotel itself was nice, there were several areas where service could use some improvement. Front Desk Service: The front desk staff was not the friendliest and did not acknowledge my Diamond status, which was disappointing. Recognition of loyal customers is an essential part of hospitality, and this oversight left a less-than-favorable first impression. Housekeeping: The housekeeping service was lacking in attention to detail. They forgot to replace coffee cups, and there was no body wash or body lotion provided for the entire duration of my stay. These are basic amenities that one expects to be readily available, and their absence was inconvenient. Room Quality: The room was fine, but nothing special. It met basic standards of cleanliness and comfort, but lacked any distinguishing features that would make it memorable or particularly inviting. Pool Area: On a positive note, the pool area was a highlight of my stay. It was spacious and well-maintained, providing a relaxing and enjoyable environment. This is a great feature for those looking to unwind and enjoy some leisure time. Overall Experience: Overall, while I would consider staying at this DoubleTree again due to the nice facilities like the pool, it would not be my first choice given the service issues I encountered. Improvements in customer service and attention to detail in housekeeping would significantly enhance the guest experience.

We’re staying for 4 nights and so far, night one has been great! The room is spacious and clean! Jackie was our server at restaurant and she was awesome. Jackie helped with some menu choices and was personable. We had questions about the area and she gave great recommendations.

The location is nice and that’s about it. Checked in to our first room and the carpet was soaked. The pool floor is moldy and dirty. You have to leave the towels at the pool and walk through the frozen lobby soaking wet. Tried to call the lobby at night (around 10 pm) to ask some questions, no one picked up. The front desk person was nice when we came in, but you can’t hang an entire hotel experience on nice staff. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again. Hilton is damaging their name with this building.

Rooms are old, outdated, and lots of things were broken or missing from our room. It's 10 floors, has a huge wall in pool, hot tub, restaurant on site,, although expensive, elevators don't always work, lots of extra fees, taxes, surcharges, and NOT on the beach. The Doubletree Resort has contracted with the H hotel across the street so Doubletree guests can walk across the street to the beach, tell the staff set up on the beach , that you're Staying at the Doubletree, give last name and Room #, and they will give each guest 1 towel, 1 lounge chair, and beach umbrella (unless it's an unusually windy day, then they don't put up the umbrellas). The best part about this hotel was the friendly staff, all but 1 employee throughout our entire 4 day stay, were wonderful. Even the guys at the beach. But be warned, there is mandated valet parking here, and you pay $40+tax a day/night for it plus tips. On top of the $40+tax forced valet, there's a $30+tax daily resort fee (included in that is your free beach towel, chair and umbrella and free bike rental a day), $101.70 hotel fee, and all of that is On top of the nightly room charge, and then at check in it's another $100 a night hold on your card, BUT, your nightly valet and $30+tax resort fee, comes out of the $100 night card hold, you'll get the rest back , unless of course you charge stuff to the room like from the restaurant or tiki bar. The hotel itself is very clean and well kept. We just didn't care for our room. No clock, alarm clock, mini fridge stuck out so far from the mini kitchen sink that it actually got in the way , housekeeping doesn't come unless you request and won't come in the room if you're in the room. We never got clean sheets, never got a vacuum of the room, and had to request daily for extra towels, coffee, cups, sweetener, blanket's, trash bags or trash to be emptied. A big plus at this hotel that you won't find at many others, is they allow pets. My husband would have had to stay behind at home if we couldn't have brought our German Sheprador. Now you do have to stay with the dog at all times, can't be left alone in the room, can't go to the pool with you or the on site restaurant.. but ... they only charge A ONE TIME PET FEE OF $50. That's a big difference between the others that charge $100 a day deposit and $125 a day per fee. So yes they are extremely pet friendly at this hotel. Regardless of the room you get, there is no ocean view. Maybe during the day time if you're up on a higher floor that is closer to the street (front of the hotel) you can catch a glimpse of the ocean, but if you're looking for ocean front or actual ocean view, you'll not get it here. Go across the street to one of the many. This hotel is next door to a 7-11, literally within feet from the main lobby doors, so you can get convenience items and gas there. Oh, with the valet parking, no restrictions on guests for in/outs. Meaning you can come and go with your vehicle as you please. They are also close to the county line, so you're staying in Hollywood Beach/Hallandale Beach (Broward county), but just a few minute walk or quick quick drive, on Ocean drive, and youre in Miami Dade county. Super close to the beautiful Aventura mall and a Publix, Walmart , Walgreens. It's a congested area, but the guests get their own private area in the beach.

Do not stay here. Pet friendly but my dog got sick from the dust in the rooms. Had to switch rooms 3 times due to dust and smoke smell. We lost power for 8 hours, no ac, my daughter couldn’t use her nebulizar machine. Called to get a refund for that one day. They refused since I booked through third party website. Dusty rooms, stained carpets, mold, and very outdated. And they charge a daily resort fee. Watch your bill. Homeless people everywhere on the outside, I didn’t feel safe. Next to a busy 7/11 with homeless people. Even the food delivery person looked as if they were on something. I’m a regular at Double Tree Hotels. I would suggest staying away from here. If you’re going to Fort Lauderdale I would suggest central beach. It’s cleaner and better.
