The best park we’ve found so far! My kids had a blast today. We played at the splash pad and had a great time, then we went and got their scooters and walked the nicely paved trails they have. We also tried fishing off of the PFC Aaron M. Hudson Memorial bridge, caught a few bass but that was it. Oh! We took some pretty cool photos of the sun set. My favorite is the sunset behind the PFC Aaron M. Hudson Sign. 💙🇺🇸 Along one of the walking trails are two bridges and they are both in memory of Aaron, there’s a place that tells about him along the trail. Not gonna lie, it made me cry, they also have areas where Aaron wrote letters and they are placed randomly on the bridge. I was very satisfied with this park as well as my children and we all wanna go back!
This is a great park to visit. We went to check out the splash pad and it is beautiful. Ample shade for the gown ups and a huge water environment for the kids to explore. The splash area is not big on action (no slides, no big features), but it is big and lots to interact with. I thought the water was a bit warm, but it was like 102 most of the day, so what are you going to do, and the kid thought it was perfect.
The adjacent playground seemed very new and it is quite nice. Has its own shade structures which is a big plus for usability. There is a nice selection of percussion instruments installed for making some noise. The 8 note steel drum is pretty sweet. There's also a lawn checkerboard under a shade sail, so gather up 32 kids and have a match.
The other amenities looked amazing from a distance, like the pavilion and the Red Barn and the paved trails. We did not explore them, so they'll just get a mention here.
The non lawn landscaping seemed to be largely native plants and designed to prevent runoff from the parking lot and other solid surfaces. A great mix of flowers and shrubs.
A beautiful park that looks very new and fresh and is a lovely place to while away an afternoon.
From chicago its known as a splash pad its unbelievable for little kids to get wet under water spraying out of the ground I've never seen such a great place for little kids to play its just magical.
This is a beautiful park in ALL seasons. Always well maintained and features for everyone- splash pad and play areas for kids, walks near the pond and lake. It’s lovely! I especially like the big, beautiful pine trees!
The scenery was so pretty and the facts about this soldier were incredible! With letters to friends and family across the path. It made the walk so much fun and not to mention the beautiful field of flowers that was there. I can't belive I've lived in the area for months and just now found this place!
Had a good bike ride around the loop here. Large, pretty park with a pond and a bridge out over the lake. I think they have a splash pad for kids in the summer. Saw some people fishing. Might be better if they had paddle boats. Too much open grass area, too much mowing in my opinion. One spot had wildflowers. Squeaky clean.
Beautiful scenery no trash landscape is kept very nice quiet and safe highland village police rolled through periodically officer was extremely nice great police force that makes there presence known I like that
This place is so cool. The artificial turf is really nice. There are some shady spots but not many. The splash zones are suitable for all ages. Even my 11 month old was having fun. This was his second time going. Last year he was 3 months and he had fun. I would recommend having the little ones wear water shoes or non slip sandals. This really helped my 2 year old not fall down as much. There is a long bike path and very very nice pavilions to have a picnic or a BBQ. They even have grills. Bring your fishing poles and walk over to the lake. Huge grassy area for having fun. The restroom is very clean.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Blackberry Mead and had a great time doing the music trivia. Cool old pub vibe and great folks. Jenny seriously slings the brews.
A quick stop on the way to Denton and located this park. Great place to take our pup and hopefully soon our grandkids to the children's park next to it.

I wish they had iced coffee but they don't. They have home fries which are called crispy potatoes but you have to ask for them they aren't on the menu. Snooty Pig sandwich was pretty good and the Snooty Pig skillet was good. Both great portion size
Never have I seen this place doing so much business before and for that I am glad to see. Fresh cooked to order food that is priced just right. Lady said it would be about 15 minuets for our food to come out and I thought, yea right as busy as they
My dream Tex-Mex kind of restaurant. Everything was full a flavor, great margaritas and queso was so good. Staff were super friendly and our order came out quickly. The atmosphere was very warm with bright colors. Weâll be back!
I was searching for a new breakfast spot- quiet - to do some work, healthy, Wi-Fi, and iced coffee. I have hit another Flower Mound spot regularly, and itâs about $20. Forget that. I could do without the music at Rosas, and they have no Wi-Fi. My p
