Excellent hotel, great location that is easy to get too, and most of all top notch customer service from hotel staff!||I enjoyed my stay here on a work trip in the area. Comfortable beds are always desired for frequent travelers, and they have them here. Nice and clean hotel, and rooms are nice. Plenty of parking. Pro tip: if you’re not a sound sleeper, ask for a room further away from highway side if they have it available.||I had a minor issue with my stay that I mentioned to the front desk, and they went above and beyond to make sure it was resolved. Outstanding customer service from Beth at the Front Desk! I’ll definitely plan to stay here again next time I’m in the area! Highly recommended.
I really loved my stay here. I wish it was for more than 1 night. The property is really nice. The room did not disappoint. But what made my experience for me here was the staff. The front desk clerks, bartender, and the breakfast server were all wonderful and super kind. The food was decent for both dinner and breakfast. The bartender made perfect drinks. I couldn't have asked for more. I loved my stay here and would love to visit again.
We recently had a 4-night stay at this property (thanks to Hurricane Beryl) and no hotel rooms in Houston!!||||From the minute we walked in, the staff was so kind and professional (thank you John, Emily, Alan, and Beth) for making us feel like we were home.||||Fabulous room and amazing shower with lots of hot water and great water pressure.||||Breakfast was great -- unless you are a Hilton Gold or Diamond Member, there is a charge, but being a Diamond member, we each had $15 to go towards our meal!||||Friday night, there was even live music and the band was awesome! We had supper there that night, and their hamburgers and fries were so delicious! Thanks Danny!||||Don't forget to get a fabulous Doubletree Chocolate Chip Cookie upon arrival!!
This hotel is wonderful .. stay there usually monthly.||||Staff is awesome -- thanks Beth, John, Emily, Alan and Artyna.||||Room is so amazing ... fabulous bed and pillows. Lots of hot water. Like many other properties that we stay at, water pressure is sometimes wonderful and sometimes not, but love the hot water!||||Fabulous huge television with great reception.||||Very quiet hotel, even though you can see it from the freeway .. never hear any car/truck noises, which is a pleasure.||||Usually leave before eating breakfast there, but have heard that it is wonderful and is cooked to order with a very reasonable charge.||||Highly recommend this property if you are visiting Sulphur/Lake Charles area. Less than 15 minutes from the casinos!||||||||We never wait to eat breakfast there, but hear it is really great.||||Highly recommend this property!!
Easy on and off from highway and love that have GF chocolate chip cookies! First time I've seen that at a double tree. Breakfast was typical hotel buffet, but was good for free with Diamond status. The room was a little musty when got in, but as we cooled the room, musty smell went away. Beds were comfy and a good one night stay, but bathroom shower was a little beat up and chips/paint spatter on shower floor.
Can't say enough about this fabulous property. Recently spent 4 nights there due to Hurricane Beryl. Had to evacuate Houston.||Fabulous property -- amazing staff (Thank you John, Emily, Beth, Danny, Dionne and Alan for taking such good care of us!||Lots of hot water in the shower and wonderful bed!
The wife and I went for dinner and the live entertainment. Above rating is for my dinner.
As a two-piece band, the entertainers were excellent musicians and singers, who played to their audience well with their range and style of timely music. Just too loud for the venue.
Right off I-10. This is a well maintained hotel and the staff will go the extra mile to make guests happy. The restaurant and bar are standard fare but nice when you are tired and don't feel like going somewhere else to dine. Light sleepers might not want a room on the rear side of the hotel due to freeway noise.
Loved the area, Cracker barrel next door. Beautiful Location. Friendly Staff, Natalie was Very Helpful. Stopped in from Vacation in Port Issabel, TEXAS. Was traveling back to Virginia. Stopped in Louisiana, Great American Owned.
Clean quiet hotel, easy on/off interstate. Modern rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast. Hot showers and comfortable beds. I travel for work and stayed here about a month ago. I chose to stay here again because it is hard to find a clean reliabl
This place is very cool. Multiple fields to battle on with selection on jelly or paint balls. They are available for bday parties which makes this place even more fun
Best brisket, stuffed tator, and banana pudding west of the Georgia/Alabama line! Seriouslyâ¦Iâve traveled all over the USA and had bbq in lots of places. This is one of the very best. Great service too! A little sad they donât have a place to e
Good seasoning and plenty of big ones. Great customer service. Messaged them before we went to ask if their seasonings are gluten free, and they were great about checking it for us! It's good to have another place to eat for celiacs.
WORTH THE DRIVE!!!! We've been wanting to try the burgers at Dairy Barn and finally got the chance. There was a line when we walked in and I completely understand why. Ashley greeted us and took our order and Amy took care of us at the register. I d
Surprisingly good food. Stopped here while traveling and so glad we did. We shared a fried fish and shrimp combo. Crispy hot and delicious. Plenty for two.
