DoubleTree by Hilton San Bernardino - Hotel in San Bernardino - 285 E Hospitality Ln, USA

This is my second time saying at this location. The rooms are clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, no weird smells, disrupting hallways sounds. This time I checked in with Isabel who was awesome at the front desk. She made sure I collected my Hilton points and tried one of those delicious cookies! After check-in Isabel reached out to make sure the room was as described and that my guest and I had everything we needed. I frequent stay at Hilton hotels, Hyatt hotels and specifically the Sheraton Hotel (by Marriott) so if you’re anything like me this is a good, clean, comfortable stop. I rated the room 4-out-of-5 simply for the bathroom needing a facelift. To be honest most bathrooms don’t meet my expectations so to clarify there was absolutely nothing too just putting it out there a fast lift is always nice. Would stay again / recommend. Safe travels.

No serious complaints, but lots of little details could have been better. I could have complained because I found a cheese it cracker on the floor of my room asking with some straw wrappers, but it was behind a chair and just overlooked. The linkage that operates the sink drain was out of order. The black out curtains didn't actually quite fit the window. I slept with earplugs and I was fine. It was a business trip and their business center was a table in a hallway and not suitable for three people to collaborate on a project. Breakfast was well presented though standard fare. Was close to our destination.

Good location for going to the Hospital for work each day. Seemed pretty safe. No issues walking to local restaurants at night. Isabel was nice and always gave us cookies lol. I would recommend staying here again.

This is a decent place to stay. The staff are friendly, bartender is great, food is excellent. The gym equipment is first class. My only complaint is that the comforters on the beds are NASTY. they need to be thrown away and using 2 sheets as a cover doesn't get the job done.

Had a great stay here! The staff was having a temporary computer issue when I first rolled in, and they were super friendly while they worked to get it fixed. They even went above and beyond to make sure I could get that famous DoubleTree cookie! The room itself was very spacious and nice. The late checkout time was awesome too. I would definitely stay here again :)

We recently had our company's christmas party at this location and we had an amazing time. First the catering manager Jamie she was very helpful throughout the process of our event, she will guide you and answer all of your questions at any time. Second Abel the banquet manager, he was on top of everything during the event he was able to provide everything that we need, also the banquet staff and server were amazing and very friendly. Overall the event was successful and everybody in my company had a good time. Thanks to the team of Double Tree by Hilton Hotel San Bernardino.

I have stayed at multiple Hilton properties in the past but this was the first time I was asked to sign an acknowledgment of their no smoking policy and quiet hours. Weird, I think they thought my husband and I were young people and were there to party. Either way, didn’t think much about it until a few weeks later I saw a separate charge on my Amex bill for $250. This entry was separate from the cost of the hotel stay. I double checked the folio as well as my email account to see if I missed a correspondence or email, nothing. I called their location and was informed the fee was due to the housekeeper smelling smoke in our room and evidence of cigarette butts. Impossible! We don’t smoke nor do we associate with people who smoke. They were adamant about their findings and I went up the chain of the command. You can stick me with a bill for a lot of things but never for smoking as we are strongly against smoking. They alluded to pictures of the cigarette butts so I asked them to email them to me and they would not. Finally I heard back from the front desk manager and was informed that the hotel manager would reverse the charge. Not only was this allegation false but if you are going to charge someone $250 shouldn’t they have sent an email receipt if not called about the so called infraction. Totally SHADY practice! I think their staff stereotyped us thinking we were young people in town to party 🙄. Lastly, the rooms could definitely use an update. So between their questionable business practices and lackluster accommodations I would look elsewhere as it is not worth the hassle of monitoring your credit card for unannounced miscellaneous charges.

Comfy bed! Rooms could use a little TLC... calcification on my shower heads, loose sink handles, and some non-Hilton towels in the bathroom but overall good. The staff is friendly and the restaurant has really really good food options. Maybe a little on the pricey side but well worth the meal that you're having. Have stayed here in the past on business and will stay again when in this area.
