DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Francisco Airport - Hotel in Burlingame - 835 Airport Blvd., USA

Rooms are outdated. But perfect for lay over because of 24 hr shuttle service. Came in around 1030am to check in but too early so need to pay for early check in fee. I was too exhausted with two kids in tow. Thankfully, a heroic gesture made by the manager on August 26,2024 by the manager made our day. He gave us complimentary early check in. Thank you sir! I forgot his name. But I thank you for saving my sanity. Shuttle drivers on those day were also amazing!! The morning and evening shuttle driver. Thanks!

We were here for one night only due to travel issues. The front desk staff was friendly & helpful & the warm chocolate chip cookie was the best! Great location close to airport and the shuttle ran on time and made everything so much easier & convenient. Easy walk along the water to a restaurant for dinner. All in all, a good place to stay when air travel plans go awry

Evidently this Double Tree didn’t pay its Disney bill so the USC/LSU game on ABC is not on in our rooms! Neither are any of the ESPN channels or any other channel associated with Disney. Soooo bummed. Come on guys….seriously, pay your bill! Oh well, at least the chocolate chip cookies are delicious and the rooms are great! Let’s see if the General Manager calls me back.

Picked this hotel for my lay over because it was the only one I found that had 24 shuttle service from the airport. Overall a good experience. Definitely an older property that they are try to keep fancy. I loved the easy access to the bay trail - that and the shuttle make this the perfect lay over choice.

I have only stayed in the new part, but it was very nice. Nobody ever gets the feather free part right, and I reacted immediately as I walked into the room. Sadly it took an hour to get it fixed but it did get fixed. Dinner and beverages at the bar were very good. This will be my go to stay at SFO from now on.

Very disappointed in this hotel. Location is excellent, but housekeeping leaves much to be desired. Came in from very late flight and all I wanted to do was go to bed. Unfortunately, bathroom was not clean, hair on toilet and in shower, dirty washcloth left in shower. 2:00am in morning, so just went to bed. I'm not sure I would stay here again.

This Hilton was awful. I canceled my remaining stay due to how rude the front desk agent was upon check in. The air conditioning was broken, dirty glasses in my room and so I canceled my remaining stay. They charged me a penalty of a night even though I canceled before the cutoff for the remaining days and followed protocol. I spoke to a manager upon check-in as well, who did not seem to be concerned. I am a Hilton Honors member and have never had an issue like this. I would not stay here

The front desk personnel were very friendly, the lobby was staged very well. Very welcoming.|But the star of the show was “Kathryn” she greet up as we brought our luggage up, asked us where we were from, we shared stories on Southern California. As we drop off our luggage to head out for dinner, she was very helpful in suggesting locations and was just so warm - talking to her made our stay as pleasant as it could have been. In spite of some of the maintenance concerns we have. ||The cons were - the room we were in had a draft, the reading light was wobbly and could hold its position, none of the power sources on the lamp to the left of the TV worked (plugs or USB’s). The bathroom door had what looked like a plaster repair strip across from it. I would have hoped that maintenance would have painted over the repair better so that it wasn’t so noticeable. ||We were only the for 1 night to be close to the airport as we had an early flight. And we didn’t notice any of this until we were back from dinner and getting ready for bed & we didn’t want to move all our stuff for 1 night. If we were going to stay longer - we would have asked to be moved. At any rate this is a good opportunity to make this room more enjoyable.
