The people were nice. I visited from Texas 1 Eve and on 8-19 we stayed the evening. The door needed to be fixed , we got in really late and tired from visiting family. Location was great. No problems other than a little musty smell. I think because it's on the lake and not sure. I did let them know as I on my own could notock door, my son did. As I got a double queen. They when asked as requested the next am. Gave us a late check out until noon, as opposed to saying no. We made sure we asked .

Over all A 3 for experience: Booked a 2 queen suite Parking is not paid by hotel so you will pay $3.50 every time you exit garage. Pro: Front desk staff is the biggest kudos to this Hotel! Their friendly faces and welcoming presence were wonderful. Very helpful! Con: The breakfast staff that must come in at 4-4:30 am are extremely noisy talking loud clanging dishes this is unprofessional. Breakfast does not open till 6:00 am on weekdays and 8:00 am on weekends. So I found myself sitting out side the hotel with a cup of coffee so I didn’t wake my daughter’s and husband. One older one that dressed business casual (greeter) was not a super friendly face to see first thing in am. My room was right down the hall they were my wake up call every morning. Not a pleasant experience and very frustrating. I know there was a complain about harbor walk noise from first floor but didn’t experience that. Recommendation: do not take first few suites located near dining hall. CON: The front gathering area turned into a “party and drinking zone”noise echoed down the halls on the main floor. Husband went out to address the noise twice once at 11:00pm and another at 12:00am I called front desk at 1:00am to notify of noice and she stated she had already asked them to disperse to rooms. Recommendation: Allow staff to remove people that are greatly effecting others stay. Pro: Harborwalk is very relaxing and the quiet in the morning sitting watching sun come up is peaceful. Walking distance to lighthouses and lookouts is not far. Pro: The restaurant next door has patio tables you can relax at any time of day:night if not full. Pro: there is an arcade on top of restaurant attached to hotel. Con: You are looking at $40 to $100 a plate for food. The food is not suitable for the price charged. Pro: The welcome cookies were a hit for the kiddos. Pool and hot tub available. Con: The pool is small and reaches capacity quickly. PRO: Great location for fishing charter we could walk to the boat! Salmon fishing was amazing. We booked with Schools Out Charters. Captain and Crew were perfect! While we did enjoy our stay because I was visiting my daughter I may explore other options if I were to return to this location.

Overall a very nice place to stay. A few exceptions were the room was rather dark. Individual lights everywhere but no single overhead...dim lighting unless I lit every light in the room. Also, someone elses shorts/bathingsuit/underwear in the closet and an Uber delivery to the door that was not mine. The swimming pool is also very cold. Not heated in the least and the hot tub would boil a lobster. Need to find something a bit inbetween on both. People are very friendly and willing to help with closet issue immediately. The hotel has wonderful views but next time I will stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor. A bit noisy near the restaurant in the morning. Overall enjoyable.

This place is definitely improved since Hilton took it over, but if you're looking for great customer service, go elsewhere. Nice view, well maintained, high end restaurant took over the attached facility on the property (very nice, but will lighten your wallet considerably), but they nickel and dime you for parking in the public garage next door, breakfast is entirely on your dime, and request the general manager to contact you after housekeeping wakes you up by banging on your door at 0720, and then again at 0750, when the "do not disturb tag"is on the outside of the door and checkout is not until 11am?-don't hold your breath. At many places you would receive some sort of consolation prize for such shabby treatment (rewards points, discount on the room rate)-here, "so sorry, have a nice day". I will, next time somewhere else."

Great place. Good room and everything worked great. Will be better when construction next doorbis done. Back patio was great for sitting outside for a cocktail (not part of hotel). The view was peaceful looking over the harbor. Overall a good experience

Very unsafe and dirty. Asked the front desk and was told it's not safe to leave the property. Parking garage is broke and they expect you to walk 3 blocks and park your car where people are breaking into them. People walking up to you outside asking for 2 dollars. Definitely would NOT recommend staying here. I wouldn't even recommend going in this area. Avoid at all costs if possible

So I’m from Ohio and I’ve stayed here a couple times before. The first 2 times no problems. But this time in particular the front desk woman was very short and dry, no customer service at all. I tried to take my children and nieces and nephews swimming. I booked one room as the children would not be staying, she informed me of the policy of 5 guests per room for the pool and we were prepared to purchase another room but she said in a very condescending tone after we said we’d get the room so all the children could swim “this isn’t a public pool” when were not trying to treat it as such. Then she repeated again. After that we decided not to even swim and take the kids somewhere else. We said we’d pay for the extra room there was no need to repeat the it’s not a public pool comment. That was total turn off and sale lost. I love the location of the hotel and the people at night are way more friendly.

The staff at this hotel invest more time talking to each other than they do attending to guests. The bedS are AWFUL, they seem to be sitting on some homemade platforms that’s creak all night and the mattresses are not what is expected at the kind of hotel. They run out of coffee right away on the am and they don’t replenish it. The view of the marina is nice - but with all the hassles it’s not worth the price.
