DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Denver - Aurora - Featured Reviews (2041)
Honestly, the best hotel I've stayed in for the price in a LONG time. Attractive lobby, comfy bed, clean room, awesome shower, and nothing in the room was broken. It's been so long since I've stayed at a hotel that didn't have something broken in the room. I honestly feel like I got my money's worth here. I will absolutely stay here again if the need arises.
Rooms were clean and comfortable. Ours was pretty spacious. I liked the bathtub, better than most hotels. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was quite good. The location is convenient next to the freeway, and parking is easy and free. Though we could hear the freeway noise from our room. Price was competitive for the area, I'd definitely stay here again.
We loved this hotel. Greeted promptly upon arrival. Nice and clean lobby area. Good size restaurant/bar area also. Our room and bathroom were very clean. I had no problem with the pillows. He brings his own. Shower pressure was fabulous. Conveniently located off expressway. Plenty of parking. We ate and had cocktails in the hotel restaurant. We enjoyed their happy hour specials. Food was very good. Waiter said they cater to the public as well as the guests. Would definitely stay here again.
Old hotel but they keep it updated. Clean room, comfy beds. The only issue is theres a flying moth everywhere. One went in our room and theres some outside the hallways. Also you can smell someone smoking weed. Otherwise it is good for the price we paid. We paid around $130 in June and thats good price for summer. The pool needs updating too because you can see the paint coming off by the steps.
I stay In hotels approximately 200 nights a year and am in a service industry, myself ….so I totally understand the demands of the public. But, never have I seen such a poor level of service. To start, shuttle is advertised as an amenity, but is apparently on demand from the airport. This hotel is 35 min from the airport - so you will wait around 1.25 hrs for a shuttle if they aren’t already there. They provide shuttle service every hour on the hour from the hotel to the airport, but good luck getting the front desk to answer the phone. Called over a period of 30 min (two people are at the desk, and this was at a non-checkout time, so don’t understand that….). Hotel shuttle wasn’t on time for departure )15 min late) but the shuttle driver was a nice older man, doing his best. But really what made me want to write this review was the service (or complete lack thereof) that I had at the restaurant/bar on a Wednesday night with multiple employees working and under 10 total patrons. At the bar, there were two other people and I sat down and waited 20 min to have someone even say hello. The gentleman next to me had to flag someone down (the bartender). The bartender was obviously bothered bc he was not at all friendly (again, I understand demands and being tired) and he also snapped at me “menus are at the front for you to grab” when I asked for one. Mind you, he literally turned around and took zero steps to grab one on the bar behind him. My good was not good - burger overcooked (he never asked how I wanted it now that I think of it). Gave me my check immediately and then waited around for me to fill it out while I waited for my food (indicating he was clearly done serving me). I sat there for almost another hour with no offer of a drink. I did tip $5 (20% of my bill) only because, like I have said several times - I am In a service industry - but wish I had not. Rooms are okay - floors hadn’t been cleaned - but other than that, they’re fine. Really disappointed, especially as an Honors member, having had loyalty to the Hilton brand.
I recently stayed here for vacation and I had a great experience. My room was clean when we arrived and they brought fresh towels everyday! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel also has a shuttle that goes back and forth between the airport.
The only issue I had was the cleanliness of the restaurant located in the hotel. We ate here for breakfast and almost all the dishes were dirty. I did alert our server and she quickly took the dirty dishes off the buffet line.
We went to this Hilton and like most people I expected a nice clean hotel. The carpet in our room was dirty and frayed. This place to me rates a little better than a Motel 6. The only reason I give it 2 stars was because of the breakfast ( which you have to pay for ) the coffee and food was good, but this hotel needs a huge update. I was under the impression that a Hilton was to be above and beyond and was less than that. Guess Paris Hilton had to buy more clothes and not worry about her Hotel chain.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Denver - Aurora with my family and service dog, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. We booked two nights in an extra-large king room, specifically paying extra for the additional space to accommodate my disability and service dog. However, upon arrival, we were assigned a much smaller room than what we booked.
When I immediately contacted the front desk about the issue, explaining the necessity of the extra space due to my disability and service dog, they were incredibly rude and completely dismissive. Despite my efforts to clarify the situation, they argued with me, showing no compassion or understanding whatsoever. Even when I pointed out the extra charges I had already paid for the larger room, they suddenly claimed they couldn’t do anything about it.
The lack of regard for my disability, service dog, or comfort was appalling. Contacting Expedia, through whom I booked the room, was equally futile as they communicated with the hotel and received the same disregard. Essentially, I ended up paying over $400 for a room I never got and was treated horribly the entire stay.
To this day, I am still being talked to aggressively and denied a refund for the room I paid for but did not receive. This hotel is extremely overpriced for what you get, with staff that are nothing short of disgusting in their treatment of guests. They have a complete disregard for anything but money. Stay FAR away from this hotel. I deeply regret not heeding the negative reviews I read before booking – they are accurate.

Excellent dog park for fur babies to have some off-leash fun time! It has trails, water, sand beach, native landscape set in a mountain range backdrop. The only con would probably be the entry price, it is $11 for the state park (the dog park is pa
The parking lot was a bit shady, but the place was amazing. Food comes in large portions -- they were really good but we could only finish half of what we ordered. The spicy soup was my favorite, but the curry was great too. Their service was top-not
1st time checking out Parkside Eatery & Taco Choi. Very tasty however I think it would improve the appearance and food if each taco had its own unique sauce and or toppings to give it more flair and flavor.
This Nature Center is completely FREE! It has so many displays, interactive toys, nature books, and live animals (snake, turtle, and a lizard!) It is so wonderful!!!!

Absolutely amazing cuisine. The meat was cooked extremely well and the sides were very delicious. My wife had the steak and it was cooked to perfection and she truly enjoyed it. We also had the break for the appetizer and it was great. I suggest
