DoubleTree by Hilton Chatsworth - Hotel in Chatsworth - 9777 Topanga Canyon Blvd, USA

This is a newly renovated hotel that has been open a couple of months. There is a restaurant on site. (I did not visit restaurant.) I have someone coming and the reviews were so mixed, I had to go visit myself. The lobby did have a funny smell, but it was being mopped while I was there. I looked at a room and there was no smell. It is new renovated and looked great. There was a language barrier at the front desk, but they offered me cookies on the way out. All and all, it is a great looking Hotel and being newly renovated it's like being in a new hotel room.

Me and my business partner needed a quick and nice place to stay while in town for 2 days. They were very accommodating and let me check in an hour early. The rooms were clean and I liked how it had my name on the TV screen when I came into my room. Definitely staying here again next time I’m in town.

We (family with 4 kids) stayed here during our "western adventure" two week long trip. My daughter kept a rating sheet of all the hotels we stayed at and this made the top of all of our lists. The rooms were so nice and clean, (and it was the only hotel I took my shoes off in) and the staff and manager were so kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we have the chance!

Positive: The warm greeting I receive every time I arrive. A warm pleasant atmosphere is what this place provides. And the location is perfect. Not far from everything. Everything is very close by. Negative: Would be nice to have a microwave in the room. If the pool and Jacuzzi would stay open a little bit longer till 10 PM as before.

Famine & Arthur & another gentlemen Whos name began with an “A” were wonderful in making our stay the best ever going above and beyond to do so for 2 nites & 3 days! They changed our King balcony to double queen balcony to accommodate our dtr visiting us while we stayed here & provided exactly what we asked for including extra pillows sheets & blankets which were waiting for our arrival. Other hilton hotels pay no attention to “special requests” which are supposed to do just that allow you to anticipate your needs & ask for hotel to be ready to meet/exceed your expectations. I don’t know why Hikton puts an option in the app when booking then. 99% of the time ignores a guest’s requests; but here @ Diubketree hikton Chatsworth they definitely got that done beyond our expectations! Wow! Thank you!| No rollaway cots/beds available @ this hotel; I’ve never heard of such a policy; disappointed in Doubletree/Hilton brand for not being consistent with offering that option!!

I booked a weekend stay for my family to relax and enjoy the pool area but to my arrival I was greeted by two very old employees at the front desk one of them being a man by the name of Alex he simply stared directly at me and my family while standing in front of the computer he had no guest in front of him so I assumed the system was down he proceeded to point me and my family to his coworker computer which his coworker checked me in and asked me a series of questions that I did not hear him ask the guest in line before me ALARMING! but I continued to stay hopeful and positive about my stay. Going into our second night at the hotel my nephew was at the pool area by himself just putting his feet in the water he was APPROACHED by the employee named Alex who just saw him the day before with his entire family checking in comes and says "what are you doing here" you can't be here to my nephew upon arrival we where never told the pool hours so was not aware of the closing time so my nephew proceeded to leave out of the area and I went to speak with Alex to ask him why was his approach so nasty and unprofessional towards my nephew instead of just explaining the pool area was closed he then became very argumentative with me i asked him for his supervisor information he denied me of the individual who is in charge number or hours of arrival to the property I feel Alex only treat my nephew like a criminal saying why was he here do to our race he could not access the pool with out a key card which means he a guest Alex shouldn't ever treat people a certain way due to there skin color as a black woman I speak with respect and dignity to everyone my experience was the absolute worst

My husband stayed 2 weeks at this hotel. Room was clean. Food was excellent. Grace at the bar was helpful and Moises his frequent morning waiter was wonderful!! Would recommend this hotel!

Most stinky place i've ever been. Noise in the lobby. Smells like a sweat. Front desk horrible very disrespectful, lady Who should be retired probably ten years ago. You're standing in front of her trying to Chek inn and she just answering 3 phone calls while you're standing in front of her and she's just chopping it up on the phone like she's At home. And then comes management, horrible, not professional at all ghetto. They didn't even want to turn the AC on in the lobby. Definitely. I canceled my reservation. I better off sleeping in my car. I recommend to stay as far as possible from this Stinky route route unprofessional unprofessional location.
