I am perplexed at some of the negative reviews. This is a nice property. Yes, it's very dated but it was still clean and nice. I was disappointed that they did not have a hot tub. Also when we arrived on Friday night, we had to park pretty far away. They have a massive parking lot but every spot was taken. There is NO diamond parking here. Also there's no lounge at his hotel either for diamond guests. The location is good, albeit a bit loud from the Interstate nearby. The pool is open 24/7 which is good, and the on-site restaurant "Root 29" is very good! We would return to this property when in Charlottesville.|To add, we had an issue with our TV on the first day and Carmichael came right up and tried to fix it. The next morning he was there with a new TV for our room. Carmichael was very nice!

!!!DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Although the rooms and location is fine, the service is AWFUL. I stayed here for a work trip and accidentally left a few clothes and my entire make up and toiletry kit in the room. Though it sounds small, it was over $600 worth of my personal items. Once I noticed, I immediately called the front desk as a friend was able to pick up my belongings. They first night, they simply couldn’t help me. The next day they made me leave a message for housekeeping instead of just checking for the item for me. I left a message and no one called back. I called again, asked for manager, nothing. As I live on the west coast I am unable to go to the hotel to ask for my items. It’s extremely disappointing that I have still not received ONE call back after a large group of us stayed here for an extended time. I work for a very large organization and will encourage everyone to choose a different hotel for any future work event. Overall- NOT WORTH IT. Avoid this place.

Over all a solid choice. Some of the views are very cool. (See property pics) Room: comfortable but dated. (See bathroom pic). Bed is super comfy, and rooms are spacious. Service: front desk staff was very kind, and gave dinner recommendations. Location: VERY hilly. Please note: rooms through floor 3 are “ground level” and can be accessed via outside… due to the hills. Parking has a million hills as well… don’t forget to put your parking brake on! I did not see reserved diamond parking either. (But note I didn’t look too hard) Daily credit can be redeemed at mini mart or at the restaurant.

Nice clean hotel rooms, friendly staff, tasty breakfast buffet (not included, but only $16). Docking one star for the "fuzz" on the bottom of the pool when I arrived. I think they cleaned it soon after however as I saw people swimming during my stay. But I was looking forward to a dip when I got there however wasn't getting in that water. Everything else was great!

I'm always proud to be a Hilton member, but this hotel definitely was a complete disgrace. I didn't really receive any heartfelt condolences regarding the constant changing of rooms. I changed rooms 3 times, dragging my luggage back and forth. It was absolutely ridiculous. The rooms were broken down, the bathroom was disgusting, and the beds were horribly made and dirty. I honestly could not believe it. I absolutely will not ever stay here again. The ladies that I dealt with, one of the night managers, were super sweet, and the cookies were yummy. Other than that, I wouldn't advise anyone to stay here.

Housekeeping didn't come by at all. We checked in on Friday and we were told every 3 days, but since Christmas was on Monday it would be Sunday. It's now Tuesday and housekeeping has left. Called housekeeping and went to voicemail, tried calling front desk, they picked up and immediately put me on hold. Sitting here on hold for 15 minutes cycling around, someone finally picked up and said they would check with the housekeeping supervisor and get back to me. Was placed back on hold and then was hung up on. The water in the shower needs 15 minutes running before it gets warm. The faucet handles are broken. The tiles in the shower are in piss poor shape and the toilet is weirdly low to the ground. It's like doing squats to sit on it. 15 years ago this place was nice. It's not so much anymore.

Good Hotel, with a gym, swimming pool, and great view. Located very close to most amenities. The front desk personal was very welcoming and helpful with the checkin process. Overall, I would recommend this location!

I stay here once or twice a month due to vicinity to work. Some of the friendliest hotel staff I’ve encountered. Man working overnights was more than kind during my late-night trips to the lobby market, and the afternoon folk are always great at check-in time. Rooms are comfortable & clean but a little dated and the elevators are very aggressive and make me sick. Otherwise great place & only hotel I stay at when traveling here.
