Double D Cafe - Family restaurant in Joplin - 6974 E 7th St, USA

Another delicious American hamburger and fries. Tasty, hot of the griddle - just the way I like it! Stop by and enjoy a Coke. A hundred years ago they mined for lead and zinc in the front and back. If this had been there back then, then the miners would have eaten here too!

The eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon was great. Biscuits and gravy were okay. The sausage left a bad taste in my mouth, ham was thick and chewy. Felt like the old days living with mom, smoking in the car with the windows rolled all the way up. A hole in the wall place for regular customers, decent food, not too pricy, not for the more modern folk!

We were greeted by Donnie as we entered. She encouraged us to get a large table to hold all our food. Good coffee, good conversation and excellent breakfast cooked up by Dennis. Donnie joined us for our prayer. Perfect small-town diner.

Me and a buddy stopped in for a burger today and was blown away. Cant believe ive been missing out on this place. Theres not a better burger in the joplin area. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! YOU WONT REGRET IT!

I was a bit disappointed that the Chicken Fried Steak, Home Fries and Gravy were all off the Sysco Food Services truck and not homemade. The meal was executed very well, ample portions and priced right, just not what I expect from a small hometown café. Service was very friendly and fast. Overall it was a nice, friendly, and clean café, but the ketchup, salt and pepper shakers on the table were very sticky.

The food was awesome. Great atmosphere and the owners were awesome. Down home cooking. I give this place 15💫

First time here, moved to duenweg and I'm glad to have a Cafe close by. Only have tried breakfast so far, and it was great. Will be trying more menu items soon.

The breakfast was like sitting at grandma's table back in the day. Delicious and tasted homemade!
