Dos Croquetas - Restaurant in Miami - 10505 SW 40th St, USA

Been seeing this restaurant in my Yelp for a while so when it popped up again, it was a sign for me to go and check them out. The restaurant is small and cute. The lady who took my order was friendly and sociable. Made me feel welcomed. Everything on the menu looks so good. I got a box of 6 croquetas and each individual has its own unique sauce. The queso frito had a guava sauce you can dip into it. The sweet and salty flavor had a nice combination. The salted caramel shake was thick to sip on the straw at first but once it was good to drink, it was delicious. They played good music while your order is being made.

If you’re looking for a quick stop and go delicious breakfast place, this is your spot. Miamis first croqueta “bar.” They have a wide variety of different croqueta flights you can order, all accompanied with flavorful sauces and tasty breakfast sandwiches. All of the juices are natural and freshly squeezed.

Service: this restaurant gives you the option to order to your table on your phone or at a kiosk, only really see the staff when they’re bringing your order. Food: it’s cuban finger food with a few twists, come to snack but don’t expect a full meal. Atmosphere: small space with modern decor. Price: the menu pricing is a bit inconsistent per item but you can easily spend $20 a person. Overall: 7.2/10

If you want to enjoy delicious croquetas I recommend you to visit this place. These are crispy and tasty croquetas. It was the first trying the mac cheese bacon ones and they were great. The service was kind and attentive, and the ambiance is good too.

Never expected to find this little gem right in the 40th St. This is authentic Cuban deliciousness! Every bite I've had from this place is nothing short of excellent! Prices are great too! Thanks Sofia for her excellent customer service. Definitely becoming at least a once a week lunch treat for me.

I took my nephew here today so he can try an out of the box croquetta . As soon as we went in he made a little joke to the cashier Reese . He said “ Hi I’d like dos coquettas, do you get it ?” He was so happy to say that and the cashier laughed . Reese the cashier is on the younger side , so I was surprised at how nice and friendly he was to my nephew . My nephew is 10 years old and at times just wanted to go up to him for questions . Reese and the other lady working the counter were both really nice . They both even came by separately to see if he liked his order . My nephew loved his ham, and Mac , cheese bacon croquetta . He absolutely loved the choco chocolate chip shake , his eyes got big and all when he took the first sip . This trip was more about him I’d had my favorite the media noche croquetta. I didn’t have the guava slushy this time but if you come you should definitely try it . If you are coming to visit Miami or are a local Dos croquettas is a must try . Thank you Reese, for making my nephews first time so awesome.

Everything was indeed croqueta themed and totally delicious. So many creative and unique croqueta options and in a selection of dishes. The croqueta flight being the most fun to share with friends. The frozen margaritas were also a delicious surprise. 10 out of definitely recommend!

I was quite disappointed with the croquettes!!! I ordered two croquettes: Chicken & Ham [thank God I did not ordered 10 as I was planning]. When I got in the car and took one bite, I regreted-it 100%: I threw them away; it did not even called my Dogs attention [see attached pictures], and two for $4.65-NOT worth a penny. The 🐔 croquette had too much pepper, white and dark meat instead of white only [the correct way] and not enough 🐔 The ham was worse-cheap ham. Mind you, I specifically told the Manager (I believe owner) that I did not want to buy them if the bechamel mixture had more flour than chicken or ham, and to please light golden fry them. Well they use a cheap oil and burnt. When I said: "There too dark," she replied: "The reason is that they were frozen, and that's the reason why there not golden and darker." Now ask yourself: Why would they be frozen?If they sell them fresh, than why would she cook frozen croquettes? Does this mean they typically serve croquettes that were already fried? If I was the owner, I would have given the money back and say hope to see you again or just refund the money and throw them away [worse case], but as most businesses in Miami, is about the fast buck and forget customer service. She said once you taste them you'll be back: NEVER. The other reviews have to be fake, or people in Miami only know to compare them to Caserita. The smile went out the window when she didn't show business ethics. I will continue going to Versailles Bakery on SW 8th St., white meat & golden fried [there ham not recommended]. Last, the music too loud it was like a club. If this business survives over 2 years, than Miami is number one for the worst food.
