Food was good. Waiter was horrible. Sat down at 7pm. Apps came out at 7:05. Entrees came out at 7:20. Check was put on our table without asking for it meanwhile 30+ tables were open and there were only five tables in our section. Rushed us out. Came back to pick up the check before I even finished my desert or glass of wine. Actually hadn't even looked at the check yet. Great food but horrible experience feeling rushed. Makes sense when you're on 5th Ave downtown and there's lines out the door. But when your in a strip mall I'd prefer to relax and not be rushed.
Spettacolare! If you're searching for an authentic Italian dining experience in Naples, Florida, look no further than Dorona. Chef Jason's special of the night - a traditional Carbonara Rome style dish made with guanciale and bucatini exceeded my expectations in every way. This Carbonara was made the authentic Roman way, without the use of American-style heavy cream. Instead, Chef Jason relied on the natural richness of the eggs and guanciale to create a silky, velvety sauce that coated each strand of bucatini to perfection. It was a true masterclass in Carbonara, and I applaud Chef Jason for his dedication to traditional techniques and ingredients.
Dorona, is a must-visit destination for any food lover. And be sure to try Chef Jason's Carbonara Romana - you won't regret it!
Amazing atmosphere, and great food, drinks all around a great time. Highly recommended.
Delicious. Awesome service. Reasonable prices for the quality food. Brussel sprouts and bacon? Yes please.
Round 2. Like 3 years later? Menu has changed. Tried the calamari and it was over cooked. Cesar salad was okay. Aged New York strip was awesome! Service was slow at 1st but she got it together. Burger was fantastic. We will be back.
Excellent!!! Great service. It's a very inviting atmosphere. Live music when we visited on a Wednesday evening with a variety of music. Food was amazing along with the presentation! Try the red sangria it's a must and a perfect pair to any steak on their menu.
Went here for restaurant week. Hostess was super, wait staff pretty good. Ordered pasta carbanara, tasty but overpriced for the portion size. Onion soup is not worth the price...try Watermark Grill for that. Bread was good. Wife Ordered filet medium well, came out rare. The table next to us sent their steak back twice. Truffles in the mushroom soup and mashed potatoes... a little too much. Waitress comped our dessert, which was nice. $125 total without any drinks during restaurant week seems high for the quality. Just do yourself a favor and go to Ocean Prime.
Picked up dinner here the other night and loved the pork Milanese and wedge salad I got. Ambiance/decor was a little tired on the inside (granted I ran in and out). Otherwise, very friendly and attentive staff at the bar where I picked up my food. Great for a real late night dinner when most other places were closing or closed!
Received numerous emails and texts over several weeks about the spaghetti and meatball night (no interest) and prime rib night. Rarely eat PR but love it. So we went (5 friends) wa reservation. Sat down and within 5 minutes at 6:30 advised no prime rib. Sold out.
Questioned how. Than recd answer that we could get but would take awhile. Fine. Ordered ceasar salad for 4. Oh my it's now table side prepared. Why????! This lovely kid painfully prepared the salad. Was good. But why not create in the kitchen. (We actually asked after seeing another tables nightmare). Went with it and thanked the young preparer.
Doronas doesn't need to be pretentious. If you want to be 5 star or even 3, focus on good food, good service, and consistency. Keep it relaxed with good energy.
Our evening and other patrons were disappointed. The absent manager received lots of feedback. He never acknowledged. He cleared plates and shook his head. No "I appreciate your feedback", no "can I get you a drink", no eye contact, no recognition, no emotion.
We will never go back. A pathetic experience
Lunch time at Shula's steak house inside the Hilton hotel in Naples Florida is an experience you won't forget. The interior is exquisite. The legendary Don Shula's restaurant is famous and well renowned for its delicious steaks. We were there for l
I discovered this location about a month ago when looking for a spot to exercise. First and foremost, I'd like to thank my coach Zach who owns this place as-well. Let me now explain why I chose this location over others. I'm not someone who enjoys g
