I didn't take that many photos but I will next time. My first time at this park, I thought it was that other wooden park but we still had a good time near the end. We took the train and I would've taken the train back but the distance from where the train and park was is a big gap unless you enjoy walking up steep hills. I don't lol. As someone on the bus line I was very amazed at how much closer the bus stop to take the "31" was, on Google it said it was an 8 minute walk but it felt more like a 5 minute walk. So I'm just happy I didn't have to walk back up those hills. We arrived at the park and as I explained earlier I was expecting that I found a certain wooden park I was looking for so I was a little confused. But that's on my part. Overall well definitely be back.
Such a neat experience. Very clean pool. They allow noodles and pool floaty toys, it's a massive pool. $8 for non Dormont residents. I wish there was more of a lawn to go in. We arrived around 1:15 and was down at the end, it was a pretty good hill to set your chairs on. It was worth it though. A great day at the pool.
Really awesome experience all around. Parking on street, at top of hill to the right and in the pool parking lot! A playground, lots of grass and a park and a massssive pool! Multiple Swings on the hill/field baseball fields and a cement path running through it all. And a basketball court over by the pool!
Such a beautiful park and playground, suitable for a variety of ages. There's a lovely paved walking trail and a couple pavilions in addition to the wooden maze-like playset. I highly recommend grabbing coffee or a treat from the Starbucks across the street before your stroll or playtime with your children.
Nice park.. with a wide variety of swings and play area for kids.. also good place for having walks and playing outdoor sports
The amount of love my kids have for this cool wooden playground outweighs the near impossibility that it is for adults to navigate it (to supervise toddlers). I also have beef that the baby swings and big kid swings are in different places. But it's super fun for kids.
Clean park and unique all wood playground for the kids. I went here when I was a kid and have good memories from then and take my kids here now. The Dormont Pool is also a unique setup and worth a dip.
There's a lovely community garden at this entrance that is ripe for picking vegetables (pictured below). Parking is also very close within a minute of walking.
Wicked cool. Movie in the pool once a month, playground is different than others which is great. Live music every Wednesday in the summer! Pizza at the snack shack is super good and the family that runs it makes it themselves. I think it was like $4
