A fantastic place to stay at Lake George! Location is perfect, close to the village shops and restaurants and local amenities such as the Steamboat Co. and the lakefront itself. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. If booking, make sure to use their own website!

Very clean place, owners are very friendly and approachable. Convenient location, nice and close to the lake. Outdated but up-kept little place. If I go back to the area I would be likely to stay here again :)

The room was very clean but the room was extremely small measuring 12 / 12 Overstocked with furniture the room was only a few yards off of route 9 traffic was terrible coming through the walls the walls were so thin you could hear other clients talking on cell phones and Everything else you could hear alarm Clocks going off In The Morning from other clients There was no garbage can in the main bedroom there were no tissyes then they had a sign up no maid service The bathroom measured 3 foot wide by 6 foot long you could not bend over in the bathroom because it was too narrow the window in the bathroom has not been washed in quite some time because when you took a shower and the room steamed up you can see where other people wrote on the window A very funny thing is they left a envelope for gratuity for the maid what made nobody cleaned our room nobody made our beds nobody gave us more towels very disappointed well we tried it won't go back

What an absolute treasure. I’m so glad I found this place. It is a perfectly preserved and tastefully renovated example of a 1950s motel. It was exactly what I was looking for and probably the best example I have found in my travels yet of this genre of motel. Spotlessly, clean, tastefully updated, but still period correct. I absolutely love that the sign still works and is as bright as it was when it was new. So colorful. So 1950s. The gentleman who checked me in was super courteous and enthusiastic, I’m sorry I didn’t get his name. For what the room cost for the evening, it was a terrific value. I’m glad I chose this place over the many other places to stay nearby. I will definitely be back! Recommended!

Just a cute little place, the owners are just the sweetest people on earth. The facility and property are clean and tidy. It looks like it's going through some improvements. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but the knotty pine tongue and groove walls are great. Just reminds you you're in Lake George. The rooms are spotless, tidy and comfortable, there's a TV with actual channels and my bathroom was recently updated. The double bed in my room (12) was extremely comfortable. There is plenty of space for your belongings. The shower is a little tight. I'm not a Fatty McGee....I'm just a broad chested, gorilla armed 6' 185lb guy. This is not The Four Seasons, this is a charming little roadside motel that's been around for many decades that has been loved and well taken care of. I never write reviews this long unless it was really bad....this place is really good. I truly wish the owners the best and have had a lovely stay.

Doray doesn't have all the amenities but it's location is close to everything. Neat and clean with friendly owners. Rooms are small and dated but if your planning to enjoy Lake George during the day and just looking for a place to sleep, Doray Motel is for you. Will definitely stay again!
