Don's Motel - Motel in Linton - 314 S St Paul Ave, USA

This has been by far the best place I've stayed at. Came here for the quiet and to unwind and Don's was just what the doctor ordered. The room was nice and clean, shower was great, but best of all was the evenings when Don would sit outside and we would talk and poke fun at each other. It felt like a second family and Don really cares.

The person who runs the hotel is very nice, room service is great. I had zero problem my entire stay.

We were going to stay across the street at a well know chain hotel, however we had a cat and I noticed Don's. So we went there. Best decision made. Not only did they allow the cat in the room, the rates were so amazing, the rooms were super clean and comfortable along with the young friendly mother and her child behind the counter. So glad we switched from the chain hotel to the home town, access with a real old fashion key motel.

Quiet friendly and clean- Stayed here for a night while passing through- Nice mom and pop place- basic hotel with basic amnenties. Hot water for a nice shower- Will try and stay here next time I'm through the area! Thank you Don's motel staff for making my stay nice!

We spent one night there coming from a long trip. First room smell like smoke, I asked the lady to change us, she was very nice and the second room was very clean with no smell. Really good price. Very quite area to stay.

I'm definitely staying here again . The rooms are very comfortable and very clean . The staff is amazing . A big bonus is that there is semi parking behind this motel . Enough parking in the back for any over dementional load

We enjoyed our stay with Don. He’s very quick witted and fun to chat with. My husband and I were on a long weekend tour of North Dakota and just passing through. If you’re not a fan of cats this is not the place for you! He has quite a collection of pets. The rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The prices were very good if you just need a place to lay your head for the night! We would definitely stay here again if we ever come through again.

While I give five stars for the friendliness of the staff; the quiet location, the room itself was merely average. Now I love travel lodges; those single story - pull up to the door places that remind me of all the vacations my parents took me on as a kid. In 2021, I expect the outdated decor and feel of such places, and while Don's Motel provides that, it could use a little more updating on such things like the bathrooms. ||Don't expect wifi, in room coffee, or breakfast, (which I was fine with) but there was a mircrowave in the room, and since I always travel with a 'coffee kit', that worked for me. ||For the price, the great staff and the good nights sleep in a quiet location, I would definately reccomend this little oasis in Linton.
