Stayed here for 2 weeks. And it was a quiet and stress free place to stay. Management is very nice and easy to talk to. And Wendy the morning manager is such a peach. She was accommodating to our needs and made sure we had what we asked for. I would stay here again in the future. Not the Westin, but a calm state of mind from the busy world. Thanks
Awesome place to stay. Management are super friendly, fair, and take appropriate measures to keep their tenants safe. Affordable weekly rates, safe area, calm, peaceful and overall friendly chill vibe. Would stay there again and highly recommend! Wendy is awesome! After serving 20 years in the military, she would be someone I would want watching our command posts.
Dons motel is the best I have been to in Long Beach the rooms are clean. The managers are very nice and polite they have no bed bugs or roaches. I am loyal to Don's motel.. it's nice that they are not a low- end or a high-end establishment.thank you Dons motel for always giving me the best experience I ever had. If you're looking for a quiet and cozy, cheap spot on the dollar to stay for a couple nights without the hustle and bustle of the night life this is your place to go. The staff are easily beckoned. The owners know what they deal with in the area and are knowledgeable on places to frequent. This is a comfortable place to go if you're trying to get an honest nights rest and not to mention the surroundings. Easily a great spot for the food lover.
Not the best of rooms when your looking for five star but they are cozy and comfy. They come with a fridge and some are pretty big in size. Nice family runs the place. They give great customer service. The prices are wonderful especially for the area. Plenty of local shopping and even a sushi bar in the parking lot. Internet wifi, and weekly and monthly rates as well. I have been staying at this hotel for years. For the price you don't get much better than this.
I'm actually embarrassed to say how long I've been living here but if they were not okay I wouldn't be caught dead here for long and I'm still here so that says a lot for the place cuz I'm a real princess. That said the place is very clean, the maids are wonderful and I haven't had any problem with the owners. They are generally very accommodating. The place is a bit old fashioned- 1980s...but after adding several of my own lamps and my own lovely bedspread the place looks pretty nice. The best thing about this place is that the owners don't give a hoot what you do. I have had guests at all hours added a boyfriend and a dog and they haven't batted an eyelash. I will mention here that I am a very steady and considerate guest and I think that goes a long way in the way I'm treated here. Very important- there are NO cockroaches or bed bugs here. They provide ashtrays in the rooms for smokers. The AC and heaters really do their job. The bathrooms are sanitary and spotless. They provide refrigerators and there are kitchenettes in some rooms. There are two restaurants on site and three more within walking distance plus a 7-eleven store. If you need a place to stay for an extended period this place is it. The best thing about it is that I don't feel like I'm under the microscope like I did at Motel 6, up the street. Don's is the closest thing I could find to living in my own place.
not a five star fancy ,but five star for service, cleanliness, and affordability on weekly rates. The couple at desk are so cool. They have smoking / non smoking. upstairs and down. parking is good, and bus /trains are close.
Came here with my dad and brother in the mid 90’s and it’s good to see some things don’t change. It was such a happening place we stayed here for NYE. We were a little terrified of the room at first but it grew on us. Man if those walls could talk... it might not be the most attractive Belle at the Ball but she’s a smooth ride.
