DonJito - Nuevo Latino restaurant in Mamaroneck - 122 Mamaroneck Ave, USA

Booked my birthday party here after a visit with friends. Managers kept communication and very well answering questions/concerns. Got an outdoor patio area that they had heated up and set up tables. Flexible to your preference on what you are interested with your party outcome. John and Bruno kept updates and emails with details. Service gets busy on a friday night so was a bit tough but we enjoyed the outcome of everything and the food.

I saw this place come up on my Instagram and instantly knew I wanted to try out. I love a place that offers Al fresco dinning. From the very beginning their welcome was super warm and inviting. The servers were very attentive and accommodating. I can’t really point the kind of cuisine it is as there is an array of options. ALL WORTH IT! The ONLY thing that I wasn’t too happy about was that the outdoor space did have any music. It would be nice to be able to hear what the inside has as the music seemed pretty good and current. All in all- it was great and v family friendly. 9.5/10 for me.

This place was very nice inside and the food pleasantly surprised me. The Culiacán roll and coconut shrimp was so good. The hibiscus raspberry margarita was so refreshing.

Food was delicious. We had mofongo and churrasco. Bruno was an amazing manager sometimes bartender if you are lucky enough. He is great host and person.

I love coming here! The food is so flavorful, service is excellent and the drinks are perfect. The place is usually pretty busy and offers a fun atmosphere/vibe. I highly recommend the Bistec Encebollado and Coconut Margaritas! I will continue to visit Donjito, we always have an awesome time. It never disappoints :)

Food was delicious and service was great ! It’s definitely a lively place with loud music and enthusiastic employees. My only complaint would be that it’s not suited for all crowds . Music was very loud and we couldn’t really hear each other speak at the table . However, if you’re looking for that type of vibe with a DJ and loud music while you dine, then this is the spot for you .

The service was amazing, Agusto our server was very attentive and nice. He made good recommendations. The food was so so so good and the desert to die for. I went here for my anniversary and loved it. They also had a guy playing the harp , I fell in love. My new favorite spot. Came all the way from yonkers and was not disappointed. The drinks were good too!!!!

Excellent food and excellent service! Augusto was knowledgeable about the entire menu and friendly. He anticipated every need. Thank you to the team for a great meal.
