We celebrated my daughter's 21st birthday here and it was the most delicious and classy way to go. The environment was nice and the staff was so kind to us. If you want great service and authentic food Don Artemio is the place to go!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Don Artemio, and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We had exceptional service provided by our waiter, Alexis. His attentiveness and knowledge of the menu made all the difference. Alexis guided us through the menu with expert recommendations! The food itself was nothing short of extraordinary. Each dish was perfectly prepared and presented. Don Artemio seamlessly combines a warm and inviting ambiance, outstanding culinary creations, and top-tier service through individuals like Alexis. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, and I look forward to returning!
Best thing on the menu was by far their desserts. I always like to start with positives before any critiques. The tres leches cake was really delicious. The icecream was thick and creamy. Now, the food was extremely overpriced for the lack of quality that was served. If I’m being honest I don’t understand the hype. The staff was incredibly nice so the service was great but the food was subpar. Nothing stunned me. Just felt like it was missing flavor really. We ordered the fried nopalitos because that’s what was recommended but it just tasted like overly lemon flavored onion strings. If you’re lookin for authentic Mexican, save your money and go to the local small owned restaurants throughout Fort Worth.
Wow. Just wow. My boyfriend surprised me with dinner here for my birthday. I was blown away. Everything was phenomenal. Greeted and seated immediately (we had reservations). Every single staff member was incredible. Menu is very simple and only a few main dishes but it's okay because you can tell they focus on every detail of the ones they do have. Started off with an old fashioned (him) and a house margarita for me. Delicious and beautiful. Ceviche was an appetizer and whoa, what a fresh, delicious, and beautiful plated appetizer. It was amazing. For our entrees he ordered the filet mignon which was cooked to a T and I had the cabrito (a first for me) and my oh my. The meat was fall off the bone. The tomato based sauce it was sitting in was divine. The blue corn tortillas and salsa (hot green one) was the perfect compliment to the meal. For my birthday, I was brought the deconstructed tres leches cake. All i can say is aside from the stunning presentation and explanation/background of the dessert, after my first bite, my boyfriend saw my eyes almost pop out of my head. He immediately knew he had to take a bite. The smooth, silky, creamy milk poured over it, the fresh berries and the ice cream. I have no words. Hands down, one of the most beautiful dinners. It's a must to try.
This might be my fav restaurant in Fort Worth! Incredible and very attentive service. Water glass never got empty which is commendable. The food was SO GOOD and our waiter was able to walk us through everything in detail. Will definitely be coming back
Got the opportunity to share a meal at Don Artemio, and what an absolutely incredible experience it was… we made a reservation for brunch, but to my surprise, it wasn’t as busy as I thought it would be. The atmosphere and decor have a very neutral timeless feel with a very open concept. All of the decor is imported from Mexico, including over 20,000 bricks that you see across the bar and walls. Our server did an excellent job explaining some of his favorite dishes from the menu as well as some cocktail favorites. We went with the Nopalitos Fritos para Tacos and guacamole as starters. When I saw the sizes of the plates come out, I knew I messed up… they were huge!! The fried cactus tacos were so unique and indescribable — I’m so glad I got them with the guacamole. Crispy yet soft and fluffy at the same time, which is the perfect taco. For main courses, we got the the huevos benedictinos and chilaquiles de pato. Both were delicious and packed with flavors including the chipotle hollandaise sauce. I cannot wait to come back to Don Artemio for lunch or dinner if it’s anything like the brunch experience. Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Fort Worth needs more restaurants like this one. 💯 Update: went back to Don Artemio for dinner and can confirm this is one of the best restaurants in terms of food quality, service, and atmosphere. Their dry aged steak was delicious and perfect, no toughness or gristle anywhere to be found. The tuna was also out of this world good. If it’s available, highly recommend.
It’s our first time here. Jake is very enthusiastic knowledgeable with the menu and drink selection. The entire restaurant made with so much detail. We felt very welcomed it was a great experience for my birthday especially talented singer. Don’t forget to order cactus appetizer!
This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The atmosphere is trendy, chic and authentic. I will definitely put this one in rotation.
