Best place to spend a relaxing evening. I love site 7, It has a small stream right next to it with beautiful sweet cherry trees. There are lot of small hikes for kids and the place comes with a grill area and tables.
Didn't stay long, just pulled in to take pictures. However the area looked great for taking a picnic. Seen tons of trails nearby for hiking or biking. Beautiful area. Worth the drive to see.
Easy climbs for beginners. Top rope and lead routes. Fills up fast so get there early.

Decent camping or day picnic area. A little close to the main road, but most sites in Big Cottonwood canyon are like that.

It seemed like a very pretty area for a picnic. My fiancée and I were just trying to eat our lunch at a picnic table but apparently we missed the signs about having to pay a fee. $15 JUST to eat at a public picnic table! Manager lady at the trailer came over and demanded we pay. We said we must’ve missed the signs and we would be happy to pay. She called us blind for missing the signs and was the rudest person I’ve ever met. Imagine being so miserable, that you have to get enjoyment for yelling at people for making a mistake. What a power trip management is on. There are plenty of other places to eat for FREE so I will not ever be going back there.
