This park is one of the better dog parks in the area. It has a nice path around the entire park and there is lots of shade. I wish the water for the dogs was a more sanitary system that drained itself better, and was cleaned frequently, but we make due with other bowls.
Big dog park can be really busy on the weekends. Drainage is an issue at times. One very muddy retriever was living his best life, romping through the mud. They have a bathing area where they planned to just rinse him off before going home.
This dog park is clean and the plastic poo bags are always stocked. They have separate areas for dogs under and over 20 lbs. The large fence is tall and secure being next to a busy, main road. There are some areas that get muddy but the gravel track normally stays dry and if not there are two hoses to wash up after. There are benches and picnic tables, covered shelters and plenty of shade as well as bowls and water spigots for convenience.
This place was awesome! Great place to take the dogs and family.
My dogs love coming here. Large and fairly clean most the time. The worst thing is all the potholes that fill with water whenever it rains. Makes for one heck of a mess. Thankfully they do have hose off stations. Wish they'd fill them. Have been coming here for 7+ years.
Great dog park, wash stands , sitting areas, fresh water, lots of space and (mostly) nice, responsible, fellow dog owners. Been coming here for 3 years and never had any problems, the surrounding park provides plenty of space to walk/run with your dog after fun in the park. The only negative is that water does not drain from certain areas of the park, so keeping your dog mud free, can sometimes, be a challenge. However, their is plenty of space here, so as long as it's not the day after a heavy rain, you can manage your way out of the mud ok.
Amazing park. My dogs love it. Lots of room for them to run in and lots of shade for us to stay cool in. They have a water fountain for the dogs which is always a bonus. I just wish it had more than just the one.
