Amazing on all levels. 10/10! The drinks, food, atmosphere, and service were all impeccable. My fiancé took me here 6 years ago for a date and we returned since we're in the area for another round of goodness. We ordered 2 lbs of sirloin and a couple side items and had 2 cocktails a piece. Well, as soon as that beautiful slab of meat came out, the power went out due to someone hitting a pole and the transformer blowing! Yikes! We hope everyone was ok! But it was quite a fun experience for us, to be honest. Instead of rushing us out, they encouraged us to stay and finish our drinks and meal, which was all on the house due to the unfortunate circumstances. Again, we kind of enjoyed the circumstances ourselves 😄 it made for a thrilling date-night adventure!!! We are still eating on our sirloin leftovers today and will most definitely be back soon! With or without power, Doe's is where it's at!!!!
The croutons in the Cesar salad was perfect. My ribeye steak was cooked medium rare & was so tender. The loaded potato was cooked well. Everything was made just right.
I don't give these high ratings often.
I'm always honest. The only ding should really not be, but; I eat my steak very rare. It was cooked just medium rare. I didn't say a word, my waitress noticed. The manager came straight over. The next day I recorded the dinner and saw an unexpected discounted. That's a first class experience in Monroe.
Top in for a quick bite after having to work late. Got the grilled catfish with two sides. Fish was delicious and cooked properly and well seasoned. The green beans were good and also season well if a tad on the spicy side. Love coming here and look forward to coming back.
The food was really good. Ordered tamales and chili for starters. Mmmm. Chili was spicy. But addicting. Hubby and cuz had Mahi Mahi, and I had the filet. Everything was cooked perfectly. We brought home a slice of cheesecake. It is the bomb.
We ordered Makers Mark and Cosmos. Very good. Cuz's beer was cold.
We had reservations, but we were a little late. Thankfully, they held the table. And was seated almost immediately.
The service by Trenton was impecable. Never wanted for anything.
The atmosphere was really neat, but a couple of loudmouths were seated close and had a hard time hearing our table conversation. It's completely not the restaurants fault. Just bad behavior.
Honestly the food and drinks were absolutely amazing!!!
But they need to do something with the section by the kitchen. We were first sat in that section and after constantly hearing them fill cups with ice and hearing the word “corner” over and over, we asked to be moved since the restaurant was not busy at all. I honestly don’t understand why they would sit anyone there unless they have a full house. It makes the experience terrible.
Business dinner, and this was spot on. From the Maple Old fashioned to tamales and bone-in filet couldn't be any better. Service from Keith was spectacular and love the ambiance.
Super nice.
Amazing, detailed service.
Great steak!!!
Bonus
Try the sweet potato cheesecake... Just saying.

Man, oh, man. When I think of good food and where I should travel to eat good food, Monroe, Louisiana, doesn't even crack the top 100 on my list. But after eating at Parish, Monroe is in my top five! Hidden away in an industrial area, Parish comes up
I came out and tour the apartments I met with this lady name Kendra. She was very nice and sweet! Also very professional. She showed me around the apartments. I was very pleased at what I seen. I signed my lease the same day! Highly recommend if you
Just had a quick hour to spend, and glad we did! There was a program promoting hunting and fishing while we were there, so it was pretty loud and busy. But one of the park attendants caught us and filled us in on where to go for the short hour we had
Came here for some grilled oysters after a disappointing stop at another spot. Place was very nice. Great view of the river. Great service and the oystersâ¦. Chefs kiss! The Nashville hot chicken sandwich was bomb too!
Place is usually easy to get in and out of. Frozen meals make busy days' dinner easy. Better than frozen grocery store, not quite homemade. Bakery items are always fresh and good.
This is about the only place in Monroe that you can find hot tamales. There is another place but they don't stay open year round. We have been eating at Southside Coney Island for triple digit years. Yes try them out. You won't be disappointed.
Outstanding food, people are so friendly, great selection and great price. I had fried chicken, yams, butter beans, cornbread, and cake. Can't wait to visit again!
