Nice park however, the office staff was like a robot, no personality at all. She spoke so fast you could barely understand her. The grounds needed moving and some herbicide to kill the grass burrs. The dog park was large and nice but had no poop bags so the park was full of dog poop. GPS has very poor directions to the park and there is very little to no signage to find it. We will not be staying here again.

Directions - call the campground. Our never fail new million dollar RV GPS garmin turned us into the back of what appeared to be a garage. Upon arrival at the very nice KOA the assistant stated that a lot of people arrive and tell them their GPS did the same thing. Sites are huge. Bathrooms have showers and all are very clean. The dog park is a shared dog park with the city. Next door is a small zoo. I was very interested in going but as of September 2023 is was temporarily closed for maintenance.

Great spot to be close to a lot of local attractions. Nicely kept campground. Would be great for those with kids or without. Especially in the summer when all the attractions are open.

I just needed a place to put up a tent and shower in the morning. The staff show up when they please which was very annoying since I needed to check in and there was nobody. The sign asked that I write my credit card details down on an envelope and slide it into a slot which let my details fall on the floor for anyone to find when the store opened up. The tent sites had ant hills causing me to switch sites and then one of the sites has a leaking water spigot which floods that whole site. There was a grounds keeper who was using loud equipment most of the time I was there making it noise and full of clippings. Kids and were blasting music, partying and riding around all night near the sites making it tough to sleep. The manager walked in almost 30min after the posted opening time while I waited to ensure the card details were properly disposed of, she ripped the paper a few times but was certainly not concerned with someone getting my card number. I should have just pulled in, set up the tent and left the next day without letting people know. Don't camp here as its not really for camping, its part of a public park in the downtown and its for the RV crowd. BUT It's a camp site, how hard is it to manage?

If you freeze up and need to use the shower house, make sure you have a strong stomach and shower shoes. They do not clean them. The same trash has been in showers for a week. Im not sure why they don't clean them but it's rather disturbing!

This wasn’t bad. I did laundry but the washers didn’t fill up with much water. Just barely enough to cover the clothes. The girls in the office couldn’t have cared less. The whole office/laundry room was really dirty. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

Google maps doesn’t know where the entrance is. Signage leading to entrance was poor. No envelope waiting for us for late check in. No check in process email. Didn’t answer the phone or call us back when we left a message. We just took the last open pull through since that’s what we reserved and paid for. Still haven’t heard from them. Check in process needs work. Large site. Luxurious grass. Pad not level side to side or front to back. Easy enough to correct with leveling blocks and jack but surprising because it looks brands new. The whole place smells like the stockyard.

My wife and I camped. There are about 5 spots on grass, which are very large, but on the downside have no shade.||As we came and left Dodge City, we did not see any camping options for many miles, so for campers, this is probably your best option.||The KOA looks like most of the KOA's in which we have stayed. They have a nice central building, and they have a dog park (although no shade, and it hot Dodge City, that is a negative).||On the negative side, the checkin could have been a little more friendly, we were given no wifi code, and the washroom facilities needed work. My wife said that the showers looked dirty and she would not use them. I noted that in the mens washroom, one of the three or four toilets was out of order and the others had what I would call a "low flush" issue, in that it took two flushes to fully dispose of all waste in toilet, generally, the second flush would get rid of the remaining tissues in the toilet. This should be addressed ASAP. One thing that I found really annoying was that the huge toilet paper rolls are cheap and of low quality, so with each tug, the paper would tear and you would get one or two sheets, and then you'd have to try and find the end of the roll and start all over again; this is not acceptable and saving a few $$ in this area is not a great way to retain customer favour.||The MOST SIGIFICANT ISSUE, however, is that there did not appear to be any security in the park. I do not recall a guard or any park employee driving or walking the park to ensure that everyone in the park actually belonged in the park. I counted at least 5 cars (muscle cars and beat up old cars with young locals) in the brief period around sunset that came in and cruised the park, playing loud music - this is an obvious security risk that should be IMMEDIATELY addressed. Should the park hire a guard, they could also have that guard change the bags in the waste cans which are also full to overflowing.||I am a big fan of KOA's, and this one with a little attention could be as good as the average KOA, or better, but for the moment, the deficiencies that I have noted should be addressed.

For a small place, this one packs a lot of charm. Great selection of knick-knacks, curios, and collectibles. Good selection of glass and other items as well.

The best Mexican grocery I’ve ever been to. Was on the way to Phoenix and needed a late lunch. The tortillas are perfect and they have quite few protein/veggie options to load into the tortillas. You can’t go wrong with anything they serve

Dog friendly. The pizza was some of the best we have ever had. Our kids love this place! We tried the beer flight which came in a cupcake like tin and every glass was different so you get to try different beers. They all were great!

This was one of the best museums I have ever visited, although I may be somewhat biased as I am obsessed with the wild West. The interactive displays were fun and informative, the information and artifacts were extensive, and you could tell the staff
