Absolutely delicious food every time I go here. Very affordable compared to many other restaurants, with great portion sizes. It’s a very comfortable and cozy setting. The service is great. Can’t complain, would recommend to anyone :)

I could never say enough good about this place. I really miss living a little closer to this small gem. I always enjoyed eating here when my children went to school in that area. I happened to be driving by there today at lunchtime and we stopped to eat. Simply still just amazing. I had the meatloaf sandwich and fries today and brought my apple pie dessert home. Seriously you all, you can get good cooked food here for the same price if not cheaper than McDonalds.

We drove out from Indiana, PA because my sister had told me how good their food was. The place is right on highway 56 with plenty of parking available. We went in and seated ourselves. After a minute or two, a server came and took our drink orders and gave us menus. The menu isn't super loaded with choices, which I prefer because I find it easier to make a choice when there aren't 300 items to choose from. My bestie and I usually order two different entrees and share them so we can both get to try two different things. We started off with broccoli cheese bites and sunshine sticks (those are sweet potato fries). She also brought us a basket of fresh bread and butter. I ordered pork chops with salad and mashed potatoes. Bestie ordered country fried steak with salad and mashed potatoes. The broccoli and cheese bites and sunshine sticks were fresh and delicious. The Cherry Pepsi and coffee were good. What we didn't expect were the country fried steak and mashed potatoes! That country fried steak is THE best thing I've ever eaten in any restaurant in all my 47 years! It was so crispy on the outside, while the inside melted in my mouth like butter. The mashed potatoes were made from real potatoes and had a buttery, garlicky taste. We loved it so much we ordered two country fried steak dinners to take home for dinner tonight! The pork chops weren't bad, but paled in comparison to the country fried steak. We will definitely be going back and we will be bringing friends!

I feel like this place is the crumbling shell of a diner that used to be amazing. The menu was vast and the prices were cheap. However, I soon learned that several items had been taken off the menu but weren't crossed out. After asking for a few things and being told they weren't available anymore, I opted to go with the daily special "BBQ ribs". I was told they were excellent but they were more dry than a popcorn fart. My daughters had very standard dishes (cheeseburger and chicken fingers) and both said they were not very good. When even young kids don't like your food, something is going wrong. I know good help is hard to come by these days, but I would be ashamed to put up this food on a daily basis

Haven't been here in years. Stopped in for breakfast and really enjoyed it. One highlight was a big homemade cinnamon roll for a really good price. It's a little far for us to go regularly, but we will be back.

One waitress (name unknown) when asked by another when I called to make a “reservation” for a special occasion, responded extremely smart-toned and rude that I should have called earlier and no. The person that answered the phone tried to tell me in a much nicer way, however I told her I could hear their conversation and appreciated her kindness though. Backstory-they don’t take reservations and have mainly booths for seating. I was asking for two of the tables to be held for this party. Their hours of operation are 6am-2pm, I was giving 3 1/2 hours notice and it was not going to be during their rush. I did that purposefully. The young lady that answered the phone again, was kind, however it’s no wonder they often have help wanted on their signage and have shortened their hours.
