There is no age limit on the small children’s playground at Duke Park so the other day when I took my six year old grandson there to play, there were a big teenagers playing on the little kids, playground and one of them run into my grandson and to the ground. This guy weighed 200 plus . So dangerous,so why isn’t there age restrictions inforced at this playground??
Love this place but there are needles in the parking lot. Thomasville needs to focus on keeping this park nice. There are so many wonderful children playing here but I regularly see folks smoking pot on the actual playground and have found needles on two occasions
I love to take my walks here, just needs to reinforce to the humans to clean up after their dogs or prohibit them from using the park . Not fair to the kids dodging dog waste.
Dope heads everywhere in the area, wouldn't go unless you carry.
Great little small town park. Playground, basketball court, baseball field, and best of all a sweet little skatepark. Well maintained overall, but the restrooms are usually closed when we are there.
It felt very small and invasive..too many people perched too closely to the play yard. We didn't even get out of the car.
My biggest issue is that there is no restroom facility. My husband and I are from out if state and located this park to have a picnic and to let the kids play before continuing our trip. We had to cut it short though because there are no restrooms open. They are locked. With children, and traveling, not knowing the area, this was important to us.
Small playground, sheltered picnic area, skate park, basketball court, and small ball field all together, pretty cool to have right in a small town. They just fenced the playground which is super helpful for littles and it has sturdy platform turf all around.
What more could you ask for in a park. Very nice playground for the kids with plenty of grassy area to run play tag and other games, a stunning disc golf course and just a short walk from the beautiful football stadium and the new swimming pool.

From the outside it doesn't look like much but once you get inside and try their food it is authentic and some of the best I've had around that area definitely worth the price ð
My wife and I went there to get bacon ends and pieces last night, which we could not acquire in Winston Salem. They were very courteous when we called and went and looked and told us that it was there. We went there and sure enough we got 10 packs.
