Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter - Resort hotel in Lake Buena Vista - 2201 Orleans Dr, USA

Family of 4 (13 & 8) stayed here for two nights while visiting Hollywood Studios prior to a Disney Cruise. Accommodations were adequate to what is expected for a moderate resort. We were put in building 1 which wasn't our first choice as it is further away from the main building/buses but this is a smaller moderate resort so it wasn't too bad. We really enjoy the smaller size of the resort as well as the dining options (shrimp and grits as well as the beignets). Transportation to the park was quick and not as busy as we have experienced at other resorts. We would likely return here for a longer stay or a pre-cruise stay again in the future.

Overall, the resort is very nice. Clean, well kept, and nicely landscaped. Our rooms felt like they could use a refresh/update and also are not overly sound proof as we could hear conversations and the TV from next door as well as people talking walking by outside. The pool area is good. The pool and slide are great however the splash pad looks amazing but the water was very cold and our little ones became chilled quickly. We some incoviences checking, but these were sorted out quickly. The food was mediocre at best except for the beignets which are exceptional.

2nd time here in the past 12 months. Very chilled & generally quiet resort. Staff are friendly & helpful as you'd expect from a Disney hotel. Public transport to the parks is very convenient & regular. Large guest car park for those driving. The boats to Disney Springs are regular & very relaxing. Highly recommend this place for couples & families - our kids love it here!

First time in this resort and it's ranking as one of my top 2 favorites. I seriously loved everything about this resort. The entrance, the interior, the location, the cast members were super nice, the bus pick-up/drop off to the parks, the shops and the restaurant. Grounds were beautiful and well kept. I will definitely be back at this resort.

My daughter and I spent three nights here to experience the holiday magic of Disney World. We very much enjoyed our stay. The riverside room had a nice view and the ferry was right there to head to Disney Springs. It is an immaculate property and the cast members very helpful and friendly. Comfortable bed too. Transportation to the parks is so easy and efficient with regular buses running often and a schedule posted. Happy to try the famous beignets!

Nous avions la chambre 7227 avec très belle vue sur les jardins. Très bel hôtel, propre, bel environnement qui rappelle Paris au début du siècle. Il y a même une carriole avec un cheval. Personnel accueillant et courtois. Un des grands avantages de cet hôtel est que nous pouvions prendre un bateau pour se rendre à Disney Sping (centre-ville de Disney avec plusieurs bons restos et boutiques). |Le seul inconvénient mais nous le savions au moment où nous avions réservé, la piscine était fermée pour rénovation. Toutefois un cart de golf nous amènait à quelques minutes au Port Orleans -Riverside.

It's not a deluxe resort, but has so many qualities about it that it just makes it one step above the moderates. The landscaping, the decor, the layout and the fact this resort is not humongous. Very easy to get around and the bus stop is closer to almost all the buildings. Additionally you have boat access too. Rooms are slightly above a "no frills" interior. Large flat screen tv for entertainment and our king bed was super comfortable. Parking was super close as well. This place is one of our faves for over 25 years!!

What a magical place to stay whilst at Walt Disney World! The rooms are clean and comfortable, amply stocked with good quality toiletries. We loved how quiet the resort felt as it was smaller than other hotels. This meant queues for the park buses were never too long, the food hall was always well stocked and staff were on hand to attend to your every need. Would highly recommend for couples and adults visiting if you want a small escape from the younger kids at Disney.
