We attended 76th India Independence Day celebration here on 08/12. It was well organized and lots of activities for kids and adults. Dance and singing contestants were pretty good. There were fun activities for kids as well. Overall we enjoyed food and fun activities here.
We went there to celebrate India’s Independence Day. The association has organized the event really well! Kudos to the entire team! ✌🏻🎉🥳🇮🇳👏👏👏
Nice open park with lots of open area. It houses the world's record Monopoly board printed and cement as per Guinness Book of World Records. There are also some cool statues that you could sit on or pose next to.
The negative side to this area is there are a lot of homeless people sleeping in the Guadalupe River embankment area. Kids should definitely stay away from that area as there are a lot of needles and other bad things happening around there.
Just like the Monopoly board which really could use a new layer of painting, the park itself could really use some refreshment.
The decoration is pretty old and not in line with the city’s nice and modern look.
Also could use some trees and more benches to sit on.
This is a pretty nice open space to get a perfect glimpse of the fireworks with so much seating areas in the park & surroundingthe park to choose from. Some seating areas if you arrive early enough allow you to sit so close to the gate where you can actually see the fireworks shooting out from the cannons. Only thing I do not enjoy is the same off key singer who sings live every year🤦♀️although the band is always on point👍 & the flying roaches coming from the grass especially once fireworks begin🙅♀️
Not enough trash cans for large events. Also there are so many hobos nearby (it's San Jose)
Went here for the 4th of July fireworks, it is not to be missed especially if you have to make last minute plans. Quaint place in San Jose downtown, well connected by VTA and close to Children's Discovery Museum, Civic center and various local pubs and restaurants.
7/4/23 this is where San Jose hosts 4th July fireworks.
Looking for a great place to take the road less traveled? Try this park, it is fantastic. Plenty of sandy trails to take a casual walk or jog and no bicycles are allowed. Look at the map photo for the relative size and circular walking paths. The rea
After so much of rain in winter 2023, the lake is so beautiful and full of water. Everything is blooming, the trees, plants, even weeds. Many ducks, swans, as well as several ducklings. Few sections along the trail south of Hellyer Park are still flo
Lovely playground for older kids. Has a basketball court too. Lush green grass and a little hill one can roll down. Beautiful picnic benches beneath trees. A very peaceful and pleasant spot to hang out for families and friends overall.
The park hours of operation have changed. It is now open until 630 p.m. in the Summer! Also, a lot of new additions are complete. There is now a bathroom and other amenities that have been added to the park including a new campfire type area where p
A nice big park in San Jose with spacious free parking. Lot of chickens/roosters roaming around, varieties of fruit trees and most of them from other countries. Didn't see any peacock or sheep. Play area is under construction. Best spot for picnic.
This is a great park in Almaden. It's pretty shaded so good park to hit up when it's a hot day, even if there is not a water feature. Two separate playgrounds, one for the older and younger kids, although the one for the Littles is pretty big and h
This has become our go-to for mountain biking in the Bay Area. Good for hikes or biking and trails are for the most part are kids friendly. You just have to be careful is blind corners for safety when the bikers are out.
This park is our usual spot when we need a break from it all. Itâs such a chill place with a really nice lake, perfect for zoning out and relaxing. The park has this calm vibe thatâs just right for a quiet walk or just sitting back and enjoying t
First time visiting this park from Out of town. Beautiful lovely park for all ages. Full of little kids and older kids playground structures. The slides are fast and fun. The ground is clean and lots of wide open space to run around. Highly recommend
This place is such a gem! The food is incredible, atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. The pepperoni flatbread with hot honey is really something else. And after a couple visits, honestly I could say the same about everything else we've tried. The owner
Dropped in to CrossFit Silicon Valley twice during the week I was in the area. Coaches and members were welcoming and engaged. I recommend giving this gym a try. I will be back the next time I am in the area.
