Located right off I-75, this restaurant was very easy to get to. And, ironically, it's just across the highway from Cracker Barrel. But with all due respect to Cracker Barrel, this place is worth visiting instead. They serve the same style of country/comfort food, and it's comparable to the big chain, but this is a local place. The server was fantastic, very friendly and attentive. They also have a small shop of home decor items, and even some pottery made by local artists. I recommend paying with cash if you can, but they do accept credit cards with a small surcharge. Overall, the atmosphere was very comfortable and welcoming. I checked out the bathrooms as well, and can confirm it was clean and well stocked.

Well I would say that this place is Fantastic!!! Great little restaurant and quaint shop. I had country fried steak and gravy with mashed potatoes and gravy, fried okra and fried corn cakes. I swear it was like grandma was cooking. Totally delicious. My husband had an omelet. I only wish I lived closer. Oh and blackberry cobbler. The fried cornbread was so good I got an order to take home!! Clean and very reasonably priced!! I will Totally make the hour and a half drive to go back. Keep up the good work. Not many places like this left!!

We loved our food. There is a large selection and something for everyone. They have healthy options and down home comfort food. I definitely recommend it

We were on a road trip and wanted local food (not chain). Our burgers were good... Service was ok. It took more than 30 mins to get our food.. I don't fault the waitress.. she was friendly. We noticed a few tables that came in after us, had received their order... We felt like she could have given us an update as she walked past our table... We sat in the room off the main dining room.. and it was freezing. One woman pulled her hoodie up on her head.. another couple were clearly cold.. I typically like it cooler, but I was cold. So as soon as the food came, we asked for carry out boxes... paid the bill and ate in the car. I thought the burger and coleslaw were good. Husband was 'eh' on the burger, but liked the fries. If we stopped in the area another time, I'd try them again.. their menu seemed like good home cooking, but I'd bring a sweater with me.

I enjoyed my veggie plate here. The cole slaw was creamy, the mashed potatoes were real, the fried apples were tasty ,and the red beans were good...eventhough the broth was a bit thin. I enjoyed looking at the artist created items in the shop area... Well worth the stop for homecooked food !

The food was good and it has a little store inside similar to Cracker Barrel. It was clean and the service was good. We had a group of 11 for a birthday party and didn't get to sit together though. Only 6 people could sit at a table and they separated us into two groups in two completely separate rooms. Nice place but not good for a large group since you can't even sit in the same room together.

Hidden gem!! This place has the best food we've had in a long time. We had 8 people in our party and everyone loved their meal. Cute little gift shop with local vendors is an added bonus. Definitely check it out!
