Dina's Bistro - Restaurant in Toms River - 2008 NJ-37, USA

Dina's bistro is old fashioned Italian restaurant...we walked in and the first impression was not so great, but the owner and staff were very welcoming and very attentive. We have to say that the food was extremely delicious, it would be for food we will be coming back, but all went wrong with some incident of something what not belonged into our bread basket was there. Also the whole ambience of restaurant was not updated for many many years. We kind of would understand that because new owners are there just for a year, so they might not have resources for update, but you don't need lots of money to keep it clean - cleanliness was horrible, restrooms especially. I won't go to details, but because of that we might not come back even food was amazing...

I've lived in the area for years and have dined at most every restaurant. For our anniversary I wanted to try some place new to add to the excitement of the night. Well I owe Google a big shout out, because me search and the posted Google reviews led me to Dina's Bistro. My favorite restaurants are family operated and you can sense the level of care as soon as you enter. Next, I appreciate nice ambiance. Lastly, if they are a BYOB, even better. Well Dina's nailed all three! We even got to meet the family that owns Dina's and all I can say is there commitment to serving great food is obvious. We tried three apps and they were all terrific. The shrimp, the long hots and a special steak app (see pic) all great. For entrees we went seafood and my halibut was outstanding, my wife's salmon was equally tasty. Service was spot on and the coolest thing about this BYOB is you can get a wine locker to store your wine for future visits. No need to run to the store!

Surprised my Grandmother with Mother's Day Dinner here!! our food was out of this world with the flavor. Have eaten here many many more times since. Love Dina, Jess & Richie to. Great Family owned business. Feel the love the second you walk through the door.

Absolute gem of a restaurant! Food was delicious and service was exceptional. The owners, a husband and wife, are on site and made us feel so welcomed. It was evident they care about their customers. This was our 1st time there and it was exceptional. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend you give them a try.

Really enjoyed our meals at Dina's this week. Portions are huge and very tasty. Service was great. Love that its a BYO. I think we closed the place haha!.. Check it out for yourself.

This was my 3rd time here and I must say the level of service and food quality is far above anything around this restaurant. Owner jesse was so nice and helpful. He went way above and beyond for our table. The desserts I must say the deserts were out of this world. You need to check this diamond of a restaurant out. Tonight was prime rib night and must say never ever seen a size cut like they give you here. I will def be back and be a continued patron. They make you really feel at home here.

Had an amazing dinner with family. The meatball appetizer and the stuffed shrimp were outstanding. Our waitress was attentive and so sweet even as busy as they were. The owner made sure to come out and check in with his customers. I am in awe at how everything that came out of the kitchen looked like it was personally prepared for each individual customer. If you’re in a rush go for the fast food restaurants but if you want a meal cooked fresh to order, this is the place.

Took my parents to Dinas Bistro tonight for their 31st wedding anniversary, and WOW we were impressed. From the moment we walked in, everyone was so nice and helpful ! The food was phenomenal and the service was awesome. We spoke with the owner and his family as they came by the table to check on us, and we cannot wait to come back !
