Din Tai Fung is iconic and lives up to its reputation. They have the best Chinese food around and you really can’t go wrong with their menu. The cucumber salad is a must to start and their peanut noodles are an overlooked triumph, but the rest of their menu is just as solid. Look for what you feel like having on the day and it WILL be good. The only part that isn’t stellar is their desserts, but that is fine because you can find plenty of dessert in the mall if you really want it. The wait times get pretty long so showing up when they open is recommended.
The wait is SO worth it!! High quality food with exceptional service. Just writing this review is creating a raging craving! I was fortunate to go with friends that ordered for the table and everything was excellent. Going back in two weeks 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Service is extremely good. Staff is very welcoming despite of being super. Food - cucumber salad is absolutely fresh but lacks flavour 3/5 Seaweed salad was amazing and perfect ! 5/5 Our favorite was the chicken fried noodles (with extra veggies) it was a chefs kiss ! Absolutely flavorful 5/5 Chicken soup - never had better chicken, it was super soft and fresh. The broth was very simple yet very delicious (must try) 5/5 Dumpling - chicken was very mediocre, I have had much much better ones 2/5. So skip on that But vegan wontons (in chilly sauce) were the best I’ve had ! 5/5 Must try - saki 5/5 Overall experience was amazing !
My wife and I had taken a trip to Hawaii to visit our oldest daughter who lived there. We stayed at Waikiki Beach ⛱️ Resort, we had gone to the Nodded House across the street from where we stayed there.. This place was awesome and I am not a fan of soups, but this place tops it. The best experience ever Thank you for everything, the Noodle Soup 🍜 was Amazing.
Din Tai Fung is a popular Taiwanese restaurant chain known for its delicious dumplings and other Chinese dishes. The South Coast Plaza location is one of the busiest and most popular locations, serving up its signature dishes to hungry patrons throughout the day. The restaurant is known for its efficient service and clean, modern decor. The open kitchen allows diners to watch as their food is prepared, adding to the overall dining experience. The menu features a variety of dumplings, including pork, chicken, and vegetable options, as well as noodle dishes, soups, and vegetable sides. The restaurant also serves beer and wine, making it a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner with friends. While the restaurant can get quite busy, especially during peak hours, the staff is well-trained and manages to keep the flow of diners moving smoothly. Prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. Overall, Din Tai Fung in South Coast Plaza is highly recommended for anyone looking for delicious Chinese cuisine in a modern and welcoming atmosphere.
An upscale dumpling spot at the mall. There is usually a long wait here - especially during lunch. Their way of paging guests on wait list was a bit convoluted and confusing. Food is delicious, though. Dumplings are made in a glass showcase and is kind of a centerpiece of this restaurant. Portions are pretty small so I would recommend ordering multiple dumplings.
Den Tai Fung is a culinary gem, offering an exquisite blend of flavors and impeccable service. Renowned for their delectable dumplings, each bite is a symphony of taste and texture. The restaurant's elegant ambiance adds to the overall dining experience, making it a must-visit for those seeking authentic and delightful Taiwanese cuisine.
Absolutely delicious! 1st time here and will return for sure. Cucumber salad, pork chop fried rice and the spicy dumplings are my favorite! Great service also. Amanda was our server and she helped us with all the popular dishes. Will return for sure.

Warm and inviting entire time while grabbing my dose of caffeine for the day. I walked in 10 minutes to close (right before 3pm) and still received service. I'll have to give their bakery items a try next time I'm in that area. I ordered a 16oz ice
Okay, so I saw an ad for this place by the parking structure and had a little time before my movie and thought, why not? WOW! Have you ever walked into a place and felt everything shift? They have it all set up for Valentineâs Day, and there are so
I've been a regular here so I wanted to give them a plug. The chicken katsu sandwich is killer and they just expanded the menu to include beef katsu as well. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Good vibe, great food. Do yourself a favor and as
Quite possibly the best stocked liquor store I've ever seen! Such an incredible variety. I'm into rums and most stores only carry Bacardi-type products. This shop has literally hundreds of different rums! And the best part? Lowest prices I've se
