We came here for lunch on a Saturday just before the lunch rush and wanted to try this place for a while.
We got the Veg Hakka Noddles and the Medu Vada.
The noodles was actually tasty, as it had the smoky stir fried taste which should have in Indo-Chinese. Definitely recommend eating this.
The medi vada (2 pieces) was also good. Very crispy outside and perfectly cooked inside. It came with the 2 chutneys and the sambar.
Overall, I’d recommend this place but as with everything is expensive, be prepared to pay $25 for these 2 items. The quantity was less for the noodles there should’ve been 3 pieces instead of 2 to make up for the increase in price.
This used to be a place worth traveling for the quality and taste (Pre-Covid)
I was surprised with the staff attitude and lack of hygiene.
American Chop suey - served in a to go container and a bowl of stale noodles. On asking why not in a proper dish their response was this is how we slserve food.
Bombay Club Sandwiche looked good, but the butter had raw oil flavor to it
Wonder what has happened. When we looked around, everyone was served in to go containers, and the food did not look at all appetizing. There is no chance for us returning to this place again.
We ordered Veg fried rice, schezwen rice and couple varieties of faloodas.
Just ok ok taste.
Never order Kulfi Malai Falooda Rabdi, they will serve this one with only malai kulfi cubes, there is no Randi. Just pinch of Rabdi.
Fried rice is just ok taste.
Below average food.
Kind and fast service, fresh food. Atmosphere is low key. Would highly recommend. It can get very busy, so best to go early.
I had the Bombay chat and shezwan fried rice the service was quick and had the great taste it felt like I was in India .
Below average food, 1 star just for the atmosphere.
1. Ordered Bombay grill sandwich where they have thrown some onions, slice of cucumber which was already fallen off and overly poured tomato sauce, and chips were served which was looked like left over and called my server she said we open new pack for each order.
2. Chole Bhature, over over over salted.
3. Dry-fruit falooda was not but just sweet water and I thoroughly looked for dry-fruits found 2 pistachio’s slices nothing else.
Worst part, they don’t want to listen any complaints that’s only reason I wrote this review.
The staff is very friendly, food and ambience is below average and there is no cleanliness whatsoever. The only thing that is good to have is Junglee Jumbo sandwich. There is just chaos everywhere and wouldn’t want to sit there and eat again.
Iselin's Little India is a downtown community of shops and restaurants that will transport you to any regional culinary experience you desire. And Dimple's Bombay Talk will take you there inexpensively. But that does not mean you'll experience any less flavor. The Southern Indian and Calcutta Chinese options are beautifully crafted and popping with flavor.
