Dimassi's - Mediterranean restaurant in The Woodlands - 1640 Lake Woodlands Dr # A, USA

Coming in to eat at this buffet place removes my guilt of not having to eat healthy. The food selection was good! There's lot of salad and vegetable selections, so as the meat! The taste of flavors is just right compared to how some buffet restaurants have their food too salty. I love the baklava and the rest of the desert paired with hot black tea. I came here at lunchtime, and I paid around $15. I was looking for the lambshank, but the food attendant told me it's only being served at dinner time. The place kind of feels cozy with a big glass wall of the restaurant. I find it's a nice experience to have a Mediterranean buffet every once in a while!

Great all you can eat Mediterranean restaurant. The place is nice and clean, lots of room to sit. Parking was very easy at the street mall just off the lake woodlands road. The buffet was great, lots of variety and many options, drinks were included as well as desert. They also had coffee. Price is reasonable for what is offered, $22. We will most likely go back again. This is not a fancy restaurant but a good value and healthy food. My cardiologist appreciates it.

I like it in general, but the food is spicy and hot, it's okay for me, but my son couldn't eat most of it, there was only melon as fruit, no ice cream and 3 dessert and no , if the problems I mentioned were solved, it would definitely be a 5 star place, the service was nice and clean and tidy.

This is not y first time at a Dimassis, but this one by far is the one least taken care of and a unkept vibe. The food is also different not on point. They do not do well cleaning the mess around the buffet area and looks very old. This one due to the area should be better taken care of. Disappointed for sure and they still manage to charge the same price.

A gastronomical delight. Authentic and delicious. The aromatics are almost over whelming in a good way. Every dish is delicious.

Their food is authentic. You can see that their regular is Mediterranean descents. I enjoyed the lamb shack, which is available upon request and every weekend. Also, I enjoyed the beef kebob. All in all, it was a nice experience, and if you are tired of American, Italian, or Asian cuisine, this is a good choice to satisfy your palate!

A really enjoyable Mediterranean dinner buffet without the guilt of gluttony! Whether you're a vegetarian or an omnivore, this buffet will satisfy your needs. All of the selections are of a lighter fare, comprised of vegetables and meats that are not heavy, salty, fatty or greasy. The price is reasonable and the dining area is kept clean. This gem of a buffet is located in the heart of the Woodlands and serves a really tasty variety of what I believe is Greek style buffet foods, for about $18 per person. Starting on the end where the plates are, you can select from several varieties of hummus, multiple types of salads, different types of rice, and variable meats (beef, chicken and fish). There are also fresh pita breads at the end of the buffet line to dip into your hummus or make your own gyros. ***But I believe that the best meat item is the lamb!! The secret to getting the lamb is that you ask the staff behind the buffet counter for the lamb and they will cook it and serve it on a plate with a fresh cucumber sauce when it's ready. The standard procedure is that once it is ready they will ring a bell and you come back to retrieve it. It's not out on the standard buffet line/you have to ask for it. I guarantee you this is the most delicious gyro style lamb that I have found so far in this area! The staff is very friendly and attentive. They make sure that fresh food is continually available and also make sure that the tables are cleaned quickly and efficiently. Overall, Dimassi's deserves two BIG thumbs up for providing a very satisfying and fresh buffet! As a bonus, since it is all fresh and the majority is vegetables, you'll leave full & satisfied, guilt free!.
