Diamonds Sports Bar & Grill - Sports bar in Oakland - 77 Hegenberger Rd, USA

Pleasant surprise when we found that our hotel had this little gem of a sports bar. We grabbed some food and drink before an A’s game and hit the Happy Hour that runs from 4-6pm. Happy Hour gives 40% off appetizers, draft beer and wine. We ordered the sliders and nachos. The sliders were great but the nachos were some of the best we have ever had. They were loaded with cheese, olives, beans and topped with jalapeños, guacamole and sour cream. More than two of us could eat! Great atmosphere and lots of TV’s with a variety of sports on.

Sat at bar. Cold beer. Hot food. Good service. Plenty of tvs . Coming back for sure!!

I've stayed here 3 or 4 times for work and this restaurant is consistently good. Very hot and fresh food. Chicken wings are clutch! Everything I've tried....fisherman's basket, burger, etc. has been really good!!!

Greasy, overpriced and overspiced. Had the Cajun penne that was inexplicably oily and somehow salty and the Salmon BLT. Both were exorbitantly priced, oily and spiced carelessly. The BLT came on on a basic untoasted bun with soggy fries. Terrible everything. Avoid this place. There are better options all around. Yuck. It only gets two stars because they serve decent beers.

Okay, so, it's okay. The food is actually pretty good,and the happy hour is pretty awesome deals. Lots and lots of TV's, decent atmosphere. Been here a few times (company contract hotel) and the one huge downside is the service. The wait staff is usually overwhelmed even by a few tables, buying it gets busy it's even worse. The manangers wander around helplessly seeming very busy and stressed but not actually doing anything. I've worked in restaurants for years, and this is far from a smoothly running machine. It was full team other day on Sunday brunch when the raiders we're in town. I guess its a stop on the way to the game. Totally overwhelmed the two servers and two managers and it took forever to get coffee, or even pay the bill so they could turn the table. I've had several meals here (I'm not walking around this part of Oakland alone) and this time they were too busy, so they shorted me the second piece of toast with breakfast that is supposed to come with it. shorting food is not an acceptable response to being busy. Ever. So, if you're stuck at the hotel there isn't any other options. Know the food is good, and the happy hour is a good value. Just be ready for it to take a lot longer than it should.

Excellent place to go waiting for a delayed flight. Close to the airport with plenty of parking. Ken was the best! Friendly, attentive & efficient! I will definitely stop here on my trips to the airport :)

My rib eye steak & vegetables were delicious! The server was extremely cordial. He was very helpful answering any questions that I had about the area. The calamari was piping hot & amazing!

Food was good. Tater tots on point. Only 1,ONE, lady working by herself. And killed it. Drinks and food. Plus polite. Give her a promotion.
