The staff was helpful when I checked in. They weren't overly friendly, but once I opened up conversation they were a little more open. The room was great. I have stayed here previously and I love the jacuzzi in the bedroom. I didnt get to go to the pool this time, but I will definitely try it out next time. The cost of the rooms is better than most for its amenities. That cost is what helped me decide which hotel to go with while I was waiting for my apartment to be ready.
There's not a refrigerator in the rooms, and the rooms are just all together outdated. The staff was easy going and helpful. The room was somewhat clean... It could definitely be better. The beds were comfortable and clean but the bathroom was pretty nasty. If your looking for a place to stay overnight this works but definitely not a place to stay for the weekend or for a special occasion.
Booked this hotel on a whim. Never been to this area. Let me tell you most of the reviews on the cleanliness of this place are true. Our first room had roaches in the bathroom and also the bathroom was pretty disgusting. Nasty looking stuff in the tub. I was excited about the jet tubs too. The lady switched our rooms and the bathroom in the next room is pretty gross too. The rooms seriously look like they have not been cleaned in years. I was too scared to touch anything in there. The bed was fine, but I was also drunk. I didn’t wake up itching which is a good thing. Why anyone would pay to stay here is beyond me. It was a good place to stay for a drunken night in Bossier but after this trip I’ll be sure to spend my money else where. The best thing about this place is the Roulette dealer Eugene. Just an awesome man!
Only took a few min to check in. The front desk was great. Got to my room and it had a sitting area. The room was clean and loved the jacuzzi tub. Made for a relaxing night after being on the road. We ate the all you can eat fish & shrimp, what a deal. We will definitely be back. Thanks again
On arrival everything was fine, we self parked and parking was easy and available.
At check in the staff made several uncomfortable jokes. Including an "uh oh your card was declined" joke. I believe they were attempting to be friendly but it just came off as unprofessional. There were more than a couple times we attempted to ask the front desk a question during our stay and no one was present.
The room left something to be desired. There was trash left behind by the previous occupants, and we were surprised to find it lacked a mini fridge. Wallpaper was peeling off of the wall. When room service came to clean the room while we were out during the day, they would leave beds unmade and dirty towels on the floor.
A couple days into our visit we went to check out the pool and gym. They gym was well equipped, but the pool was "closed for the season". A bit odd seeing as it was spring break.
The casino play was pleasant. During peak playing times like the weekend, the casino staff are fairly friendly.
The stay was great my first night, no complaints, the room, the people, and the food. The second time I arrived which was a week later i was put into a room that the linens were gone and the room wasn't cleaned I called and they just sent up linens and that was it. I called to get my receipt and was sent to another person. Called back same result. I stayed once again and I ate at the grille, the cashier got my order wrong she charged me for a higher priced item and did nothing to make it right. One of the cooks tried to make me settle for chips but I just wanted to get refunded. They were a little rude and I ended up being out of 2 dollars. It's not the value but when someone makes a mistake, it's only right to make it right. They failed to do that. Would like to talk top a manager if at all possible to explain in detail.
Hotel is extremely outdated. Carpeting is hallways was so dirty! Same for room. I wouldn't put my bare feet on that floor! No hot water for shower in morning. Staff is friendly and it was as clean as they could possibly get for such old decor. The TV is from the 80’s. Thankfully they had the good sense to not have those outdated spreads on the beds so it did feel ok to sleep there. We got up and got out of there. No enjoying that room one bit. Never again
I've rarely complained to the front desk at other hotels but when I have the staff has been apologetic and most have tried to solve my problems. This hotel staff not only was unhelpful with my issues, they were also very unapologetic and the lady at the front desk informed me that it was my decision to stay at this hotel and I could stay somewhere in future visits to Shreveport.
It started at check-in when I was told that there were no non-smoking rooms available even though that is what I requested. I was informed smoking preferences were only a request and no attempt was made to meet customer requests.
The smoke smell in the hallway was strong enough to make me nauseous walking through it. So nauseous, that I vomited during one of the trips through it. Luckily my room did not smell as bad.
The room was big, but some of the lighting didn't work (which was not fixed during our stay), I thought the chairs were uncomfortable. The bed was fine and the water in the shower was hot, but I feel like the room should be renovated as the paint is chipping and the carpet and lampshades were stained.
The pool in my opinion was the best part of the hotel, however a few minutes after our group got to the pool it was closed for the rest of the day because the manager told security to. I never got a reason, but someone in our group got a member of security to say it was because of lightning in the area. That might have been true, but the sun was shining when we were told to leave.
I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Ashley has a great personality! She was helpful and definitely does not follow the standard customer service (or lack there of) I am used to getting when I am here for business. (*see âShrevedâ in the Urban dictionary. ) The food smells amazing
Zap Thai is a great family owned restaurant! If you want authentic Thai food then you need to pay them a visit. The food is made to order and is fresh which explains the slower service. If youâre in a rush or have limited time to eat, save this pla
