Diamond Mountain Casino & Hotel - Hotel in Susanville - 900 Skyline Rd, USA

This place would be great; car charging, clean, affordable. But it smells like cigarettes everywhere. Even in my non-smoking room, someone clearly smoked in the bathroom and it stank up the rest of the room and my clothes just walking into it. If you're sensitive to odors, pick a different place.

Unlike several of these reviews, I only noticed a light smoke smell in the casino and none in the hotel area. Beds were fantastic. Had a great night's sleep. Rooms very spacious and the whole place is clean and well cared for. The staff is so nice and friendly. Mentioning Alexander at check-in, Anthony in security/players club sign up, Z in the restaurant. Food is good and prices decent. Machines took my money, but gave it to my husband, so it evened out. Great jacuzzi, nice and warm.

Stopped in for dinner, the environment and service was excellent. I ordered the street tacos and didn't care for them to much, they had to many pieces of hard grisel in the meat. Next time I will try another dish. The people were very nice and the service was great.

Room was nice but OMG the lobby and casino smelled so strongly of smoke. I’ve been in a lot of casino hotels and this was by far the worst smoke smell I’ve ever experienced. As others have said there is no complementary anything which is strange. It’s like the really nice hotel area is a second thought.

So I am a traveling pharmacist. I see A LOT of hotels and I like to think that I have a good idea of what's standard care. Beyond the good employees there (front desk) I was not impressed. Sure, they have a pool (nice) A VERY SMALL gym (okay) The room was (good) But everything else you can imagine is sub par. 1. The lobby smells like cigarette smoke (No, i don't care that it's a casino, I am a guest at the hotel there and it's gross) 2. The "coupon" they give u is a 1$ off JOKE! (Especially considering they make most their money off drunk old people) 3. They do not offer complimentary ANYTHING, like not even breakfast. (I have been in 2 star hotels that offer that. 4. They have no green area to just sit and relax... (No grass, no small park or back yard, front yard... nothing. I really don't care that they have fancy native decor... I don't even care if the bed was comfortable and room clean. THAT'S WHAT YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXPECT?! I EXPECTED BETTER, I EXPECTED MORE. AND YOU SHOULD TOO*

It's a nice quiet little Casino it's off the main roads so you got to take a little drive to it. They don't print out tickets they use a scan card which I thought was absolutely wonderful. The people there were great, and I love how they love Halloween

The only issue I had was the guest laundry room was an empty shell with no machines and half of the Macomber in the workout room were broken

Friendly security, waitresses are okay to say the least. Tended to other customers who sat down after me for breakfast at a snail pace. I should have been greeted the moment that I sat down and asked if I would like a menu.. which I wasn't. The security guard staff is nice. The floor people whom work the floor machines do not even come to the slot machine when floor staff button is pushed.
