Everything about Diamond Head Luau is Outstanding! This is definitely a Friends and Family kind of place. From the moment we checked in, we were met with warm smiles and friendly Aloha. All the Diamond Head Luau personnel were extremely polite and friendly. The food was not your usual Hawaiian fare, but very innovative and delicious. The Hawaiian/Polynesian show was high-energy and exciting from start to finale. Standing ovation to the dancers and musicians! We are locals and brought visiting family members from Australia to Diamond Head Luau. We all loved it and hope to attend again.
Wow. What a beautiful culture experience. Great food. Friendly faces, and wonderful story telling. I’m going to recommend this experience to anyone who is looking to attend a Luau. We brought out little guy and we’re approached with nothing but kindness and welcoming hearts.
Love that it's close to Waikiki and in a convenient location! The food was delicious, the staff were kind, and the entertainment was entertaining!!! The coconut fire dance, the Tahitian dance, the Samoan slap dance, and the fire knife dances were all amazing!!! We also loved the coconut demonstration!!! Thank you for a fun filled night!
I had a blast with some friends at the DH Luau yesterday. The food was amazing and from a variety of different restaurants nearby. The service was on point there was always someone nearby to assist. Enjoyed the dancing and story telling. Overall a really cool vibe. Welcome back to the neighborhood.
A nice, smaller, intimate luau. The food was much different than the usual luau fare. No buffet with the same large quantity/low quality food. Instead they partner with local restaurants and offer a variety of small plates. Really nice show, too, with very talented dancers. Excellent sunset view overlooking Waikiki Beach. Everyone used to say it's worth hopping on a bus and going across the island for the "better" luaus. Now maybe not so much.
The show was incredible, small and intimate atmosphere makes for a personal experience. Much better than the huge luaus offered by others. The food was delicious, small plates from top local restaurants. I didn’t go to all of the stations because I was full. I would come here again and bring everyone I can. Definitely worth it!
Amazing Luao for friends and family! We were looking for a luao near our hotel since we didn't have a car. Thankfully we found this Luao which was located on the Aquarium grounds (aquarium tickets are complimentary if you purchase Luao tickets!). This event showcased local resteraunts. Food was served via in small plates but it was extreamly filling. The performers had amazing energy and were very engaging with the crowd! Would easily recommend to everyone looking for a Luao in Waikiki!
I recommended this luau, especially for families. If you’re really interested in the fire show then make sure you wait until the end because that’s when it happens and a lot of people left before it. There are 8 different vendors for food so a lot to try! The show is inclusive and authentic, the entertainers are great!
